    I love the fact you give alternate ways and stores to achieve the same look. Ive noticed you do that in all ur videos. I especially love that you rep the dollar store. Alot of crafters are all about name brand and basically make u feel u need to spend lots of money to have a hobby. All your stuff is amazing and i appreciate your channel as well as your accent

    I so appreciate all the options you give to get the same results! Especially since the pandemic, I don’t run out to the stores like I used to, and even when I do, the stores in my area still have lots of empty shelves! These donuts are adorable! Love your technique-way more realistic than trying to start with a “snake” of clay. Thanks for these videos!

    That’s the way I make my donuts. My first donuts I made were from rolling a log and connecting the ends to make a circle. I was thinking that was to much works so I made a ball and used my finger to make a hole in the middle. Much better and no problems with the connections when it dries. Great tutorial again!

I saw your gingerbread house video luv that I never see stuff like that at any DT I go to. I'll keep a look out. Gingerbread theme and candy theme very popular for the holidays now so the more you do the better. Anything else snowmen or snowflake i would luv to see that's my theme it's winter not just Xmas just throwing out ideas for ya. Thanks for your mold video too. I bought gingerbread ornaments I want to make molds of and those tiny button up buttons. Omg I found in my collection mini cookie cutters and rolling pin and little bowls and spoons etc definitely making molds of them. If works out I'll probably sell them. It takes a while for the tackiness to disappear. I don’t seal my fake bakes I just let them air dry really well. Thank you! 😊

    Ivory soap for shredded coconut? Maybe??

    You are definitely amazing! As to the box being bigger for the half dozen donuts. You could make it a combo box by adding in donut holes/munchkins. Have you try making the donuts out of the air paper clay? I believe I may make some as Valentines day gifts for my students. I better making them now...LOL!!!

    • @peepthisyall
      @peepthisyall  Před 2 lety +1

      That’s a good idea! I never used paper clay. I only had an old dried out piece that I grated for coconut. But I now have a shredded coconut tutorial using polymer clay! 😉

    How long does it take the Model Magic clay to dry? Does it get hard? Mine have been sitting for 12 days and they are not rock hard.

    • @peepthisyall
      @peepthisyall  Před rokem

      Model Magic takes a while to fully dry. It will get rock hard over time...not days. As long as you can handle them without them losing shape you can decorate them. 😉

      I used puffy paint in the video for the Boston cream and painted the chocolate one with acrylic paint. I did not add any shine…it’s just paint.

    Try a white Dollar Tree candle and grate
    it for coconut and I would set with a matte clear spray like Krylon. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR VIDEOS , YOU ARE AWESOME 👌 👏 👍 😍 💖 ❤️

    Can you take the clay and bake it in a toaster oven and when it's done baking can you put the stem and the Cherry afterwards or does it have to be cold to put the stem in?

    • @peepthisyall
      @peepthisyall  Před 2 lety

      I used Model Magic air dry clay in this video. You do not bake it. Polymer clay is baked. 😉 Not sure if your referencing the right video as I do not make a cherry in my donut video.

    For the chocolate topping I don't have the strength in my hands to squeeze out the caulk, how about using light weight spackl and mix in the chocolate paint. Think that will work?

    • @peepthisyall
      @peepthisyall  Před rokem

      You can try that but it won’t be drippy more like a frosting. You can also use slick paint in a tube. Or even get caulk in a tube and use a caulk gun to squeeze it out. 😉
