❤ So happy you are loving your newish place!
I fully support the advice on driving to a place and getting out with the local community to see if you fit well there. I did this before my first relocation halfway across state for attending college. And again since graduation as I have been considering a move halfway across the country. I found several small suburbs that would be a great fit and got a feel for the apartments and neighbors in the areas. Before I sign a lease, I like to be near the apartments at three separate times of the day to see what the neighbors will be like, early in the morning, middle of the workday, and evening after work or on the weekend. I want to know if it's loud, if there's people who work odd hours or many unemployed neighbors. As I usually rent in lower income neighborhoods, this has been an issue in the past. I once heard advice (from I think Kelly Stamps) that I now intend to take, always rent the best you can afford. Perhaps I do need to be in low income housing, but can I get that in a safer suburb with better amenities? It is never fun to need to break a lease because the neighbors are up to no good. Safety and security are priceless!
Yes safety and security are priceless! I love that idea of visiting 3 diff times a day too
Great watch and very useful tips. Been staying in a solo apartment for 6 years now. Takes dome getting used to. Coz for the 4 years prior to that i ised to just rent apartments with friends so i never really used to choose locations i liked it was more just locations where we could find spots that would suit us as a group of 4 but i definitely had a mentality and attitude change once i moved out on my own and had to factor in everything.
Keep up the great work 👊🏿🙏🏿
Awesome that you’ve had both experiences!
I will probably never live in an apartment again but these are useful for any kind of living situation. Thank you 🤗
I agree... especially renting. It will always be better to buy - detailed surveys find any issues before you buy.
That’s good to know!
I enjoyed watching this video so much, the points you made are spot on❤️
Congratulations to you on moving to your first Apartment ☺️
(You're so beautiful by the way😊).

These are good tips! 🙌🏽 I agree planning ahead is key. There are so many unexpected costs that will come up. Did you do a house warning party?
I didn’t have a traditional housewarming but my friends and fam definitely chipped in and got me stuff. Thank god bc it got expensive! Lol
