This is gorgeous. The best looking set up from any football game right now! It just feels a bit frustrating to hear that this stuff is only accessible on pc with thousands of mods.. meaning until we see progress like this on consoles and just the standard games, it’s going to take a lot of years.

Game looks absolutely stunning. If you can get to grips with manual controls with Pes there is no better football game. Missing chances, inaccurate passing and not scoring every shot is how proper football is. Keepers are not perfect but they are excellent. Watching this makes me want to play this on pc instead of console.
Actually blows my mind how good it looks with Mods. PES need to add the correct graphics and score boards for PES22 even just for the leagues they have licences to. Wasted opportunity.
PES needs a better marketing to overtake FIFA. FIFA is cheap, but everybody still buying , because of license or ultimate team or because they are use to do so. Defending FIFA is like been drug addict. What I trying to say is that PES is a better game (by miles away) , but struggle to sell itself.
What really needs to happen IMO is for someone to force FIFA (the org) to stop signing exclusive licensing deals. It stifles competition and leads to shitty anti consumer practices. Disney realized it and gave Star Wars rights to other devs. But of course I’m dreaming here, because FIFA is extremely corrupt unfortunately 😞
@@TheWefikus the problem also is , that leagues like bundesliga and Premier League only give their licenses for one game publisher, they don't think about the gamers , only on big money. Of course is all about money, but they would have it anyway. Just set a price for the license and who want to pay for it , can have it.
PES cannot overtake FIFA with marketing, the two games are fundamentally different.
FIFA is made for kids, it succeeds in stimulating a child's brain, it's not even trying to be realistic.
PES will not overtake FIFA by gameplay, marketing or licenses , but PES is doing well and will continue to grow.

The only thing I'd say (and of course, it is just my opinion) is that you don't need to make comparisons to Fifa in your PES videos. Reason being is that your reviews are fair as they are, and the footage you used for the handball example is from Ultimate Team, and probably a rare time it's happened. For all its flaws, Fifa has some very good things, and the two games shouldn't be compared (again, in my opinion) because they both play vastly different.
I like how you mentioned the 'randomness' PES offers. It is definitely one area they have nailed down, and they have done for many years. I love when you have a 'PES Moment' where something completely random but cool happens. I had one just yesterday where the AI defender attempted to clear a cross and ended up heading it beyond the out coming keeper. Doesn't sound like much, but it was really enjoyable.
Anyway, keep up the great work mate. I look forward to the next video!!

Brother you earned a sub and like... The last 40min video on realism in pes is fully reviewed and now you added few more minutes to show more realism.. And you covered it all my g. The only thing i hate is that referee bug. Especially when you let ball go through and defender collides with you and there is no faul given.. I hate that.. WP on promoting the pes.. The community is thankful.

VAR is pretty much in the game already, I mean there are very minimal offside decisions already. In any football game, if you're offside even by a marginal amount the game gives offside. The most they could do is just add a VAR cut scene, which majority of people would probably skip lol

Thanks to you I’ve been playing full manual PES for three months now and I’m not going back. Too bad it’s not possible to match online opponents that also play full manual.
Grew up playing PES throughout my childhood, switched to FIFA as all my mates were playing - then got hooked on FIFA ultimate team. In terms of gameplay however this looks like a lot more fun and free flowing.

I would recommend one really good mode for teams. PES 2021 Adria mod. It adds Serbian Leagues (1st and 2nd division), Bosnian League and Croatian/Montenegrin (you can choose between two during installation). It also adds Bundesliga, Mexican/MLS (you can choose) and mods all other leagues. Tjey recently made stadium server pack that gives you all stadiums in EPL, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serbian League, Serie A and most other stadiums. They even made realistic ultras songs for Balkan ultras (I don't know about rest).
The difference is, Konami cares.. EA doesn't.
Konami didn't release a new version of pes this year (just the update) so they can create a full next gen version... we know they'll have 3 yeard of dev time by the time its released..
Ea will just release fifa 12 again
No new version, no new features, same crap over and over
pes 2021 is literally a carbon copy of 2020 there's nothing new to it and you literally have to pay £25 for the game which is just a season update

Again, I say this about all your videos but seriously, you are by far the best PES reviewer I've ever seen. Your videos make me want to play PES more, despite me playing on PS5 and not having access to all the amazing mods. I almost want to buy the cheapest gaming computer I can build just so I can play PES with mods.
You make a great point at 8:45 about the keepers not coming out. I abuse this feature a lot when playing a ball through 1-on-1 and the keeper just stays planted. Annoying for realism but great for scoring easy goals lol. Another thing they need to fix up is how you can use super cancel running to essentially stop a defender from running after a through ball. It's too overpowered and I use it so much. Just takes away from the realism seeing the defender just stop trying to intercept a through ball because you're super cancelling lol.

both PES and FIFA have their annoying quirks, but also plenty of good. It just depends what you're looking for. Just a note: Handballs in FIFA happen and get called so much more offline. The one-off FUT clip definitely doesn't show that.
In online they're turn off idk why but EA decided that.
@@cv_luka probably because FUT would prefer there be no interruptions to the flow of the game. Same reason there's barely any fouls. The issue is that the online game seeps into the offline side of the game.

@@GNMbg not just menus buy better features like able to adjust between transfer and salary budget (a feature since fifa 12 or even older but pes doesn't have it), the negotiations make more sense (no one discusses with the club and the player at the same time) and the game doesn't contain low release clauses for every player

I'm so tired of FIFA and wish I could get into PES, but it just doesn't do it for me. I despise online modes, thus presentation is as equally important as gameplay and graphics. PES is atrocious in terms of presentation, and FIFA is abhorrent in matters gameplay. Graphics are close enough. So, I'm stuck with FIFA by a hair. The gameplay is getting to me though.
What a sad gaming age we live in when there's no proper football game to enjoy in career mode.

For me pes 2021 is the closest we have to the wonderful pes 5. The improvements this year are subtle but make a huge difference. The extra weight and zip to passing on manual is fking sublime.
How games against the ai on superstar can hinge on a slight tactical change and the individual battles all over the pitch are majestic.

Im always amazed by pes gameplay and its realistics. I still prefer FIFA even though that I hate that so much. Everything is so robotic and you always score the same goals. Thats why every player moves with His goalkeeper so its really Easy to chatch a shot. This is not how it works in real life. Pes seems so much more realistic and FUN. FIFA has better menu, licences etc. But damn this gameplay deserves more attention. Its sad that we cant get more than just a great gameplay. FIFA would go down really easily.

getting pes for the first time when its released on unreal engine on 22, definitely getting these mods
This shows the true potential of PES with the modding and gameplay looking spectacular. Unfortunately if you're like me (a console player) then you get a mediocre experience with graphics and overall gameplay. For people that have a powerful enough pc and enough patience to learn full manual then I agree PES is the game for you, otherwise FIFA is still the better choice. For context, I've played the last 10 FIFA's and last 3 PES games and I'm not a fanboy of either before anyone wishes to criticise.
my FIFA fan friend thought those SUPERB shooting animations are auto until i showed him that the player shoots at the ball anytime with manual shot and will do a great free animation. ONLY FIFA animations are scripted.
This game has so many issues for me. Fouls, responsiveness, pass accuracy (even on manual passing) but I’ll play it over the terrible game play on fifa that’s way more frustrating

I have both Pes and Fifa, love em both to bits! fifa on full manual with some gameplay tweaks can be quite enjoyable but of course Pes's modding potential is almost limitless and can be fine tuned to suit your own needs.

So dude, do you reckon making videos from your gameplays with those controller maps that appear on tutorials and stuff? I've seen some videos with it, specially tutorials and stuff, but it helps A LOT to see HOW the commands are done at that specific time and over the most diverse situations.
Anyway, thanks a lot for your videos and I wish I had some spare money to help with the PC, just past some months funding myself to finally get it as well lol

About the new pc, a few days ago at CES, amd and Nvidia announced their laptop gpu and cpu lineups, they're expected to start hitting shelves in February, I'd advise you wait for these laptops, something with a 5000 series amd cpu and a RTX 3070 gpu would be the best effective option, would cost about $1400
I agree with the switch animation, but you should learn to use the joystick to switch. And have manual switching as well. Auto will only work with attacking. The animation when receiving the ball from behind can be avoid if you use super cancel on the run.
2:44 looks like real life
The graphics look very natural and i really hope UnrealEngine PES 2022 will be huge, because FIFA is going backwards in terms of gameplay and also has outdated engine. Still i wouldnt call a hard modded game played vs AI and with horrible response time, laggy gameplay animations, no referees etc, "next-gen". Hope they keep the good parts of the game in the real next gen title later this year for ps5!

I play PES when I want to play a good-feeling soccer game, and I play FIFA when I want to play Pro Clubs or Volta. Being able to play an online career mode specifically with a created player is what I like most about sports games, and futsal is a big bonus.
Each game has some of what I want. If PES added two things, I would skip FIFA. A mode like Pro Clubs, where you only control a created player, and a North American league. Even fake leagues that represent MLS or Liga MX would be welcome. Honestly, it's kind of sad that they don't bother.
This is fine if you've got a £2000 pc rig and you don't play online, the stock Pes 2021 is pants online, next gen is about as far away from Konami as the moon is. Let you down every year Konami, the logo should change from the pitch is ours, to, this shit is ours.
