From one creator to another, you are not alone! My channel isn't as big as yours, but I was holding my own until February. Then something changed, what I don't know. All I know is that my videos aren't being suggested to viewers even remotely interested in what I do. And it isn't just the diy community, it's channels from all walks of life that are noticing this as well. I *do know* that YT, at it's own discretion, doesn't show videos to subscribers that haven't interacted in some way with our videos in awhile. I double checked this by going to each channel I was subscribed to to see if there was any new content, there was but I wasn't notified even tho I had notifications set to all....but "something" had reset those notifications. Like I said, this is community wide. I'm not giving up, no matter how depressing my numbers are. Hang in there, you are not alone!

So why do you stubbornly stick to YT? Why not switch to the Rumble and invite everyone? And the economic situation is bad and people don't have money for DIY.
Ok, so Farmhouse may be stale to some, but Farmhouse is never going out of style. It's here to stay. Bc its timeless. However, it may be that adding cottage-core, euro-cottage, boho, or Shabby chic in addition to Farmhouse is helpful. But although dollar tree prices have gone up, it's still popular. And consignment shopping is always fun, never boring. Any type of flip/ DIY is always fun to watch. So there's my added 2 cents. I wouldn't stop creating distressed Farmhouse, I'd add more styles to get more versatile trending click-bait.

Go to your channel subscriptions and make sure the bell is set to "all"; additionally go into your CZcams settings and under notifications make sure they are turned on. Hope this helps.

I watch you regularly with my 89 year old mom, but on my TV. I was assured by another you tuber that the tv views count even from those of us that have premium without the ads. But that being said I often have to go to my subscriber tab and find you and other crafters there to see if you have a new video I have missed. I stopped getting notifications from you tube on so many of your and my other favorites.
I watch CZcams on my television with premium too and I didn’t even think about it until I read this comment. I hardly ever get notifications anymore, period. No matter the channel, it’s like I’m not even subscribed anymore. Come to think of it, maybe I’m NOT subscribed anymore. I’ll manually check because something weird is going on here…

I subscribe to a lot of channel on YT that are of interest to me but I've noticed I don't get notifications to new content on a lot of them lately so I double checked to make sure I'm still subscribed and hitting the notification button. Either YT is not capable to handling the volume of people who start a channel with them OR there's a method to their madness since they have the power to cut down the people whose channels don't grow as fast as they want them too. Who knows what goes on in the minds of these people. Hang in there and figure out what's best for you. I love your channel, it's not controversial, political or contain questionable content.

Make sure everyone is hitting the notification bell. Mine wasn't clicked, which is wierd cuz I usually always click it when adding new channels. Don't give up! I love what you create. I think a LOT OF TIME and thought goes into what you do, and it must be exhausting after all is said and done to still be dealing with this issue! I think stepping away would prolly only hurt more than help. In my opinion keeping steadily producing videos is better, bc if not that's when people walk away. Me personally, I am subscribed to a lot of channels that have not produced new videos bc I still feed off their older content, so there's that- but I'm patient and still rewatch a lot of my fav's bc they are inspiring to me. Your videos help us crafters get in the creative zen! Anyway, please don't lose hope, I understand the algorithm can be challenging.
Rhonda, sad to say, but this does not surprise me. YT has been doing some very weird things ! For instance, I told Crafting Cousins I would binge watch their channel to help them out. I watched several videos. Then after one of them it said “unsubscribed”!!! WHAT??? So yes, You Tube can deny all they want, but they are definitely part of the big problem! I subscribe to several and every summer they go away are replaced with “hauls” of some sort! I’ve just about given up watching all of it! I feel your frustration! I know that I have deleted two or three channels (not yours) due to the fact that they weren't pushing out craft videos like they use to. These people were posting far too many, "what's new at dollar tree" videos. I don't have a dollar tree in my area but even if I did, I can go to dollar tree for myself to see what they have. I want crafting videos. I love your crafts and personality. I also have an interest in videos that take us along to the thrift stores, seeing items purchased and how they diy them to fit their home styles. It seems that these creators are getting a lot of views and subscribers these days. Something to try?

I don’t know I hate hearing a creator continue to say subscribe throughout their video. We are adults and know that this is an option. I don’t think we need to hear it 3-4 times a video. I think creators should be unique and not follow the current trend or even do the same projects with a “twist” that other channels are doing. I enjoy creators such as this one as she does her own content and brings a different style. She has great content. Dollar Tree creations are so redundant!!! I wish you much success and growth on your channel…
I'm very sorry to hear that this is happening to your channel. You have one of my favorite channels, and your crafts are not so over the top that they are intimidating for us at home to try. I checked to make sure that I was still subscribed (and I am). However, I noticed that some of the other channels that I was subscribed to show that I was no longer subscribed. So, I had to resubscribe. Perhaps ask your subscribers to check and make sure that they still are. I will be waiting to see what is coming from your channel, and I will be along for the ride!😊
I’m from the UK …. I only lose interest when people start “best buys at dollar tree” or “50 best things at Amazon” I love genuine crafts that inspire from truly creative people with bits of their real lives thrown in because then it doesn’t matter I’ve never seen a dollar tree or hobby lobby! I hope you reach a conclusion that allows you to carry on and grow x

Facebook does something similar. They control what I see. Pages that I have set as favorites are no longer in my feeds. When you and others are experiencing the same thing, you know something shady is going on. Possibly, they just don’t want to pay you. I have a few favorites on YT, several times I never received notifications of new videos. It’s weird…but it happened. Take the time you need. I hope everything works out. Prayers for you.

Over the past few months I have found a new interest, junk journaling. IDK if You Tube decides to do anything with that but I'm still subscribed. I'm sorry it's not going as well as it should be. My first four months of the year I'm covered up at work and it seems like I don't get to see much. I am confident you will have the best solution. Thanks for the video. I am a very small channel but really want to grow to support myself and quit the 9 to 5 office job. I gain a few and then lose a few. I get so discouraged. I watch a lot of CZcams growing videos and nothing. Keep up and looking forward. There has to be an answer.

I feel like I work so hard on a video and sometimes they get a lot of views and sometimes they don’t. I am still a fairly small channel! I also need this to be an income. The way the unsubscribe is crazy. Channels that my son subscribed to years ago before he was allowed to have his own account are still on my list but ones I watch weekly get taken off. And than I realize I haven't been notified in a while and have to go back and subscribe.
I started following you right after this video. I noticed you only put out one video every 4 weeks or so, you have to put out more content if you want better results. I mean that in the friendliest way. 😊

I love the thrill of thrifting and flipping those items, just like what you do. You don't push your subscribers to purchase expensive supplies like so many do because they are also selling those products. You are not the only one this is happening too. Make sure everyone is hitting the notification bell. Mine wasn't clicked, which is wierd cuz I usually always click it when adding new channels. Don't give up! I love what you create. I think a LOT OF TIME and thought goes into what you do, and it must be exhausting after all is said and done to still be dealing with this issue! I think stepping away would prolly only hurt more than help. In my opinion keeping steadily producing videos is better, bc if not that's when people walk away. Me personally, I am subscribed to a lot of channels that have not produced new videos bc I still feed off their older content, so there's that- but I'm patient and still rewatch a lot of my fav's bc they are inspiring to me. Your videos help us crafters get in the creative zen! Anyway, please don't lose hope, I understand the algorithm can be challenging.

Rhonda, sad to say, but this does not surprise me. YT has been doing some very weird things ! For instance, I told Crafting Cousins I would binge watch their channel to help them out. I watched several videos. Then after one of them it said “unsubscribed”!!! WHAT??? So yes, You Tube can deny all they want, but they are definitely part of the big problem! I subscribe to several and every summer they go away are replaced with “hauls” of some sort! I’ve just about given up watching all of it! I feel your frustration! I know that I have deleted two or three channels (not yours) due to the fact that they weren't pushing out craft videos like they use to. These people were posting far too many, "what's new at dollar tree" videos. I don't have a dollar tree in my area but even if I did, I can go to dollar tree for myself to see what they have. I want crafting videos. I love your crafts and personality. I also have an interest in videos that take us along to the thrift stores, seeing items purchased and how they diy them to fit their home styles. It seems that these creators are getting a lot of views and subscribers these days. Something to try?

I don’t know I hate hearing a creator continue to say subscribe throughout their video. We are adults and know that this is an option. I don’t think we need to hear it 3-4 times a video. I think creators should be unique and not follow the current trend or even do the same projects with a “twist” that other channels are doing. I enjoy creators such as this one as she does her own content and brings a different style. She has great content. Dollar Tree creations are so redundant!!! I wish you much success and growth on your channel…
I'm very sorry to hear that this is happening to your channel. You have one of my favorite channels, and your crafts are not so over the top that they are intimidating for us at home to try. I checked to make sure that I was still subscribed (and I am). However, I noticed that some of the other channels that I was subscribed to show that I was no longer subscribed. So, I had to resubscribe. Perhaps ask your subscribers to check and make sure that they still are. I will be waiting to see what is coming from your channel, and I will be along for the ride!😊

I only lose interest when people start “best buys at dollar tree” or “50 best things at Amazon” I love genuine crafts that inspire from truly creative people with bits of their real lives thrown in because then it doesn’t matter I’ve never seen a dollar tree or hobby lobby! I hope you reach a conclusion that allows you to carry on and grow x

Facebook does something similar. They control what I see. Pages that I have set as favorites are no longer in my feeds. When you and others are experiencing the same thing, you know something shady is going on. Possibly, they just don’t want to pay you. I have a few favorites on YT, several times I never received notifications of new videos. It’s weird…but it happened.

The way the unsubscribe is crazy. Channels that my son subscribed to years ago before he was allowed to have his own account are still on my list but ones I watch weekly get taken off. And than I realize I haven't been notified in a while and have to go back and subscribe.

I love the thrill of thrifting and flipping those items, just like what you do. You don't push your subscribers to purchase expensive supplies like so many do because they are also selling those products. You are not the only one this is happening too.
