      Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of Soup, the material world will be replaced, it's not that hard to go without food for a period, the body can get food from other sources, Ok so you lose a couple of pounds, Daniel fasted for a long period, the sent Malakh was detained dealing with something, but he got there in time. @@claywithers523 Exactly. Nor is it that hard to go to another tent in camp to find food if Esau was starving for food. Torah states that "and Esau despised the birthright" (Gen 25:34). Esau was having issues with the birthright if he despised it.
      The birthright of the first born is serving God, "Sanctify to Me every firstborn, every one that opens the womb among the children of Israel among man and among animals; it is Mine.". (Ex 13:2)

    Evil is not a noun, it’s an action, it’s a verb. Good is not a noun, it’s an action and a verb. Godliness is not a noun, it’s an activity and a verb. Only in Hellenic/ Christian thought seething in Platonic ideals can these be nouns, and so we have the difference between the Hebrew and Hellenic mindsets as they are demonstrated, and taught.
    And so “Force” is the dominant expression of Christianity, while “Power” is the preferred path of the Jew. This story demonstrates the conflict between Force and Power. True transformations cannot be forced from the outside or even sought without ruining them...they must be allowed to emerge from internal growth and power working through the spirit of the Most High.
    Baruch L’Chaim

      Why are those nouns (good, evil, Godliness) associated with force, Platonism, Hellenic, Christian, and when seen as verbs, associated with power and the Hebrew mindset? Can you make what you said a little more understandable for me? Thanks.

    As a former Christian, I quite empathize with this issue. Esau is considered the father of Christianity. When I was in the church, I really thought that as long as we all believed in the Son of God, the world would definitely become better. But as my time in the church got longer, I found that some people who believe in Christ have no better character than before (of course there are many people who change their lives because of Christianity). At that time, I began to doubt my own beliefs. Is "faith" really enough? Is superficial holiness really enough? Just like Esau said by the rabbi. Then by the grace of the Holy Lo-d, I started to get in touch with Judaism. To make this world perfect, you really have to change from the inside like Jacob. One time faith and one religious ceremony are far from enough. It is necessary to practice the laws of the Holy Lord at all times and change little by little so that this world will become perfect and meet the expectations of the Lo-d.

    • @fanrichard6967
      @fanrichard6967 Před 3 lety +1

      @Jeffrey Rutt you analyzed this topic from a physical view, and I respect that. But I view this stuff in a more spiritual way, I recognize Esau as an incarnation of that the world could be perfect in a quite easy way, which is very similar to the teaching of Christianity or the western ideology, just like what the rabbi said in the video. In addition, I also view Ishmael as an incarnation of later Islam. I think we shall not read holy books only in one way, but also view them in different dimensions.

    If you want to ignore the FACTS by Torah & Science...be my guest.
    There is a reason why Esau held opposite physicality to Jacob !!! And why HaShem would hate someone from the womb !! And why a mother would hate her child !! And why the womb contained Two Separate Nations !! And why via COERCION HaShem still backed Jacob.
    It because they did not both come from Isaac !!!
    And not as Judaism promulgated.
    It is extremely consistant with females within scripture. And pre empted in Abraham & Ishmael.
    The Angel wrestling Jacob is an attempt to delay him. It is most likely this was Esau's protective angel. It parallels his wrestle out of the womb.
    Use your brains. Stop toeing the line of promulgated religion !!

    • @walterfoulger6340
      @walterfoulger6340 Před 3 lety

      @m.dalma. monika totally irrelevant to establishing patriarchal bloodline. But..two nations IN THE WOMB..does establish two separate father's. Just face facts...either Rebecca was raped or was a naughty girl. Either way...ALL EVIDENCE is much much stronger to two separate father's than it is for them both being from Isaac. And if you look at the parallel between Isaac & Esau and Abram & Ishmael....ITS PROVEN. Stop believing in promulgated exaltation found in Judaism.

    • @walterfoulger6340
      @walterfoulger6340 Před 3 lety

      @m.dalma. monika even though what you say does exist. It is rare. Whilst twins from two separate father's is common.
      We are not looking at any absolutes. Because scripture does not supply the absolute.
      What we are looking at is a chain of evidence.
      I have covered more in a previous comment here.
      We are looking at what is actually stated, the nature behind the scripture & an explaination making far greater reason than the one taught by mainstream theology.
      Answers of substance need to be met..
      What sort of a mother hates one child whilst loving the other ?
      Why does HaShem step out of character & hate from the womb ?
      Why does HaShem permit such deceipt from Jacob & again with Rebecca ?
      What significance has the physical differences ?
      Can a legal claim of inheritance before the inheritance given be proper ?
      Can a legal contract be void of witness & formed under coercion ?
      Why is there so much deception around Rebecca in ALL MATTERS ?
      It is always difficult learning that teachings held for so long are wrong. Sort of like finding out one is adopted on their 40th birthday.
      Two Nations are " formed " in the womb is fine. But scripture doesn't say this !! It says two nations are IN THE WOMB.
      Scripture in the Hebrew has very specific purpose.

    If you are superimposing divine wisdom on stupid acts of sons of a sheep herder, what do you think that wisdom has not helped you to reconcile with the two new versions of your tradition. Neither you seem to have reconciled with them nor have they reconciled you. All three of you consist of 55 percent of mankind, whereas you alone account to 0.2 percent. What use was all that wisdom?

  • @walterfoulger6340

    Manis Freidman
    One of the Few examples of jewish pride overlooking truth.
    They were " Superfecundation" twins. Jacob was from Isaac. Esau was from a caananite.
    This is extremely common. Especially among women who think they are baren. The description of their appearence is 💯% Superfecundation twins. Twins by two separate father's.
    💯% aligns with Rebecca's history & background.
    Only jewish pride in ignoring impurity promulgated their story.
    HaShem did NOT hate him from the womb before he himself could show " deed". And the direct statement from the angel of having " two nations" in the womb is 100% evidence of Israel vs Caananite.
    There is no way in hell Esau could legally sell his inheritance under coercion. Nor before it was given him.
    Rebecca knew. She hated Esau because only the woman knows. And Esau is born against HaShem's promise. And thus why Rebecca agrees to " bare the whole iniquity" of Jacobs trickery.
    All glory to HaShem. And the love of Israel.
    But...call a spade a spade.

      @J Fl ...you are ignorant. Yes it is more common than you think. And the further one goes back in time the more common it is. But this is besides the point. Before you comment with ignorance...try research. The scriptural description of their physical differences is twins by two separate father's 101.
