Nothing but control but come to a stop using the front brake with steering angle? Should always bring a bike to a stop with the rear brake especially slow speed manoeuvres
@@lices you're not clever. Just going backwards would not have accomplished this so easily. Do you call everything stupid just because it's different and efficient?

Lol he had it under control...that is a relatively light bike. From the perspective of a non biker I could see where they may think he almost dropped it lmao
Boss move. My brother worked at a dealership and showed me that trick. I always thought bit placed too much stress on the kickstand so I don’t use the maneuver
Actually I did not see a near drop , in fact is a standard procedure to turn around a bike , pivoting in the main stand . Well if you have a street fighter , you can not do that 😂
No, sir, a kickstand is not made for maneuvering your motorcycle, it's made for resting your motorcycle while parked. This guy is just another yuppie with an expensive motorcycle that doesn't give a damn about abusing it!
I can always tell someone is still new to riding when they do that look down when coming to a stop. Veteran riders come to a stop from any speed and keep their heads up. Maybe a quick glance down to ensure the kickstand is going onto a clean surface.
I've don't this a few times and try not to. It's a lot of weight on a component that has a lot to do with your bike shutting off or not mid ride, lol, unless you're already bypassing that switch
CZcams and social media has made people think its cooler than it is... What's really cool to me is riding and maneuvering your motorcycle with a leg on each side and the motor running! I think this rider had ample room to move, but just like he had to get the matching BMW jacket, he wants to display a certain image...
@I Like Turtles agree 100%. I know that side stand move is an old biker move used in extremely tight situations. But this dude clearly trying to impress someone but looked like a complete tool in the process.
I think every rider absolutely must drop their bike every 2 years or so. It smartens you up real quick. I have been riding 50 years myself, now on a 2022 BMW r1250Gs. Dropped once when new. No shame.
The fact that all these comments say not even close just goes to ahow how the majority of people have no fucking clue what theyre talking about. The guy handles a bike super sketchy 100% a new rider
@@ssnake0 the concept isn’t pointless I agree, him doing it there was pointless and unnecessary, he had the space to ride in at the correct angle and push it back.
Yea, a little risky on the front brake part. The thrning part was done well. Had he slipped all those bikers would have helped him just to keep from seeing it fall. Bike community is bad ass. Always help each other. How ever you may go to do that one day, and since its a newer bike you could damage the kickstand sensor, and the bike wont start because it thinks the stand is down.

Clickbait
Front brake at slow speeds? Best way to drop a bike.
If you're searching for the click bait conformation.
This is it.
Just a jealous ass that wish he had an M1 to even drop 😂
Agreed, instant block for this channel.

Lets block this stupid channel. Done ✅
Didn’t come close to dropping it. I hate liars.

He looks like a beginner. The stop at first was sketchy and the pivot was not smooth.

Spun it around on the kickstand
Yea
Oh really????? Didn’t see that?
@@NoahScape just sh.t…u..p
why poeple put that much weight on the kickstand is beyond me , only to save 5 seconds of your life by parking it normally 🤣
Exactly he had plenty of room to drive up forward and back up into the space 🤦
That thing looks mean af
Did that to my DR, bent the kickstand, gouged out my swingarm before i noticed.
The front of that bike looks like an alien
With Down’s syndrome
Yes, you definitely click baited me. Not cool. But that bike is just too pretty for me to be angry! 😆
You can use the side stand for turning your bike. No dropping no lost of control I see
Looked safe to me
Yea
When?
He front brake while the wheel was turned right so bike naturally wanted to lean right which brobably surprised him just a little bit
That winglets ain't looking good 🤔
I spin my bike like that all the time. It's convenient when you don't wanna reverse in a spot.
Looks to me like he was in control the entire time.
Boss move. My brother worked at a dealership and showed me that trick. I always thought bit placed too much stress on the kickstand so I don’t use the maneuver
Just passed his test, bought the bike and branded jacket but ran out of money for proper boots?
Nearly drop?? Where?
Grab the bars from the opposite side, so much easier to handle.
There was no loss of control shown in this video
Actually I did not see a near drop , in fact is a standard procedure to turn around a bike , pivoting in the main stand . Well if you have a street fighter , you can not do that 😂
Why not

Not nearly close to dropping the bike, fair to say im not even gonna try that with my 200kg bike, its gonna crush my 70kg body 😂
*You weak bratha,* *go lifyt waits bratha,* *or go sleep*
Looked strategic to me.
A- he didn't almost drop it
B- don't do that it will fk the kickstand
maybe on a Ducati, ive done this every day for 16year on the R1
I have done that with every bike I’ve owned on every ride. I feel at 5,8” I’m more likely to drop it walking backwards tripping over my own feet.
allot of stress on that kickstand
He didn't even barely lose control of it. Fk u mean almost dropped it
Parking attendants in Indonesia always do that😂
I can always tell someone is still new to riding when they do that look down when coming to a stop. Veteran riders come to a stop from any speed and keep their heads up. Maybe a quick glance down to ensure the kickstand is going onto a clean surface.
Putting alot faith in those alloy kick stands
I love the part where he nearly dropped his new bikes
If he can afford a 40k bike, he can afford to drop it whenever he wants too.
Its gorgeous!!!!
Sexiest bike alive👍
Bro is riding a "WSBK" machine on the road, legend!
I'm still waiting for the flying unicorn to appear
Dude knows what the hell he’s doing
He didn’t do it properly, but it worked .
No he didn't ffs
I do this all the time with my Yamaha. This is a standard maneuver.

Why do I see so many bikers doing this unnecessarily

Nope, i do that every day in my garage
That is a safe way of turning any bike in a narrow space... the only droped thing is the poster brain
Still suprised how strong such tiny things are vs a heavy ass bike
I build these bikes every day over here in Berlin, beleve me it takes way more to flip this masterpeace…
My heart was skipping beat throughout this entire video
That's skill right there
Grabbing a fist full of front brake with the wheel turned to stop it. Nearly a rookie mistake 😂

This is how channels get blocked for making clickbait titles
The front of the bike looks very angry 😂
BEAUTIFUL bike!!!

Putting 💯 trust on the Side stand.
Did the complete opposite of nearly dropping it. That’s someone who’s used to moving bikes for a living
This is the best clickbait ever and good thing it never happened

All fun and games until the side stand bends ! Nice bike tho 😉

i also use the same move to do a quick 2 man chain lube
Nah he know what he’s doing no chance he was dropping it
Perfect control. This guy can gor sure handle his bike.
That was perfectly executed
I dont see any nearly drop here. Thats a technique over there. A skill.
Unstable coming up. Could have just pulled up and backed in.
Have been doing it for years and my kickstand never got broken
Gotta love the part where he drops the bike 😆!
No near drop there, just a pointless swivel on a kickstand to try and show off at the local cafe.
It was so pointless he pointed it exactly where he needed it.
Pointless??? It’s an easy way to turn the bike on the kickstand.
@@ssnake0 the concept isn’t pointless I agree, him doing it there was pointless and unnecessary, he had the space to ride in at the correct angle and push it back.
Nearly? No. He did, has I do. Good job actually
Looks like he just MANhandled it purposely spinning it on the kickstand to line up with the rest of the bikes

I didn’t see anyone dropping anything. Can you get a video with a guy dropping his bike posted?
I guess what he ment was his use of the front brake while steering right. When the suspension bounces back a lot of people losing control of the bike.
I tried doing the side stand turn on my Vstrom... Gave up and just lifted the back end instead xD
Not everyone looks perfect when riding.
