Owned this piece for about a year now in Edmonton and I have two complaints:
1. The “User Area” doesn’t function like I thought it would or maybe should. It still alerts to the perming false locations I mark… it just alerts you in advance that it’s a user area. Basically 2x notification.
2. The range is too good. What I mean by that is I will pick up RCMP approx. 12 miles away which sounds great, but it’s such a long distance I have a tendency to get back in it thinking it’s a false alert then 3 minutes later I see the cruiser. First world problems!

Great video. Just got a $90 ticket for 64 in a 50 zone at 9pm in Toronto. Crazy. Decided to research the topic of RD and looking like the ProM is good bang for the Buck.
Just wondering. I already have a Thinkware dashcam pro wired to my windshield. Do you know if there’s a splitter that could come off the power to power both the dashcam and the ProM?
Unfortunately I don’t know of a splitter for your install. A universal or brand specific mirror tap might be the way to go

Have you had lifter problems? Looking for a pickup. Gmc looks great but concerned about reliability on long road trips.
I have not and the vast majority don’t, but there is a known issue and it is covered under powertrain warranty
Was that some kind of camera displaying real time views in your hub when you were going through the bridge?
Not sure which information you were looking at while I was driving though the tunnel. There’s a lot of info on the Cadillac Escalade screens

For nearly the same price the Uniden R4 has better range, I use Uniden R8 and Escort Max 360c MK ll.

I think if you shoot in 60fps you won't get that flickering of the radar and other screens.

Maybe like apple, they'll try to find a way to upgrade your software and charge you for it.
