Just glad you guys are doing well and hopefully on the road to a complete recovery. Take your time with recovery. Even after you get back to work exhaustion will sneak up on you quickly. Take care of yourselves. Very sweet of y’all to take the time to do videos while sick.
Totally understandable that vlogmas took a hit, don't worry about it! Glad your feeling better Jess and even though it sucks that Kale got it I'm glad that your symptoms aren't as bad ❤️ Also we just call our lights winter lights and keep them up as long as the days are more dark than light, it's nice to have something pretty to look at all through the dark winter 🥰

I tested positive on the 22nd, and I live by myself in England (moved here from Canada last year) and Christmas suuuuucked because of it! I feel ya guys, it’s miserable! I still have ear infections in both ears and a cough because of it! Covid is a nasty beast! Glad you still were able to get some enjoyment out of the holidays regardless!! ❤️❤️

So glad you are both on the mend. One of by best friends had it twice. First at the end of Feb, before the president decided to stop golfing long enough to warn the US. The 2nd time was in October, she tested positive 5 days after we had dinner together, and we went for a joy ride in her new car. I was lucky, and did not test positive. My friend's first round with the virus was like a mild flue and she was very congested. She did not know she had it until she was tested at work and had the antibodies. Her 2nd time, no smell of taste for almost 3 weeks, but she could not eat. She was so exhausted, she basically slept for 2 weeks, but did force fluids and eat a little bit and drank smoothies, but she kept getting weaker and her chest hurt, not congestion, but a heaviness, that worried me so much. Luckily, she did not have to go to hospital. Thank you for sharing that you both tested positive and talking about it. There are STILL people out there who think this is all FAKE...Sending you the best from WV. Hope the rest of your 2021 is happy and HEALTHY! Oh, BTW, we still have our tree up. We did not bother with outside decorations, except a wreath and a sign that we hand outside, which are still up.

So glad to hear you both are on the mend now ,we here in NZ have been so lucky as far as COVID has gone .We only have it in the isolation hotels from people coming back from overseas nothing in the community.We always take our Xmas decorations down before New Year as it’s my oldest grandsons birthday on the 1 st January.Glad to see you both smiling again .Take care of each other .I seen it was a sad day in the states yesterday but can now only get better.love to both 😘

My 4 roommates all had COVID in September, 2 of them had severe symptoms; 2 of the 4 still do not have their taste back. I never tested positive, I did isolate from them for 2 weeks after their positives. Hang in their and continue to do the safe things, you will continue to recover.
My lights are still up. The deer complain every now and then, but the cats land me love it.

i drink my homemade lemon ginger tea to bring back my sense of smell and taste,, and its really helpful to me...hope you wanna try it too,,make it warm to drink...God bless and always to protect you guys..💞🌻🇵🇭🌈
I hope that you two start feeling better soon. I work at a hospital that deals with both low income patients and inmates. In addition to some patients who got it, staff members have too (Within our work family, I know three people who've been on vents. One came home from the hospital this week despite matching a few criteria that each would make him a high risk patient, a nephrologist (renal doctor) who started recovering thanks to the plasma transfusion treatments and was eventually well enough to treat patients again, and then a friend's dad who just lost his battle a few days ago. 2/3 coming back from intubation is pretty miraculous, but knowing how hard that friend and her family were impacted, it's still very tough.
While I've continued to test negative in my weekly tests and just received round 1 of Moderna's vaccine, I know two people who've tested positive on separate occasions, and seasonal allergies can make it even harder to discern when some post-nasal drip is actually from the coronavirus.
Please take care of each other stay isolated from others. Take Vit C and Zinc! As a Pharmacist, I have been taking Zinc...it was recommended by our doctor. Take care of each other ❤️! Love you guys❤️

In Reykjavík they have a system on entry that you get tested and people were testing negative and they have to isolate for 5 days and test again and on the 5th day people were testing positive.
Also most people have an inflammatory response 4-6 weeks after their symptoms go away. My family had lower back pain and headaches
My aunt got covid 2 months ago and still doesn’t fully have her taste and smell back

Christmas decorations have to be down by twelfth night. Normally any lights would be on til then. Originally Christmas period ran from 16th November to 2nd February.

I just got over it as well. I tested positive the 28th and it was a bad headcold basically for me. But I lost my taste and smell and it was the worst part. I could feel food textures in my mouth but I felt.like I was tasting air 😂 it was awful.
Hey u two were blessed one to ha e one another and two not to b deathly sick so be sure to thank God for that..sorry u couldn't spend with family next year...
Hope you both feel better soon. I'd never take a test theres too many false positives. Unless I actually had a persistent cough, temperature and loss of taste/smell. Stay safe it's crazy here in the UK 😏😏

I never lost taste but my smell was gone and everything I did eat was super salty to me. Hoping you guys are past all this ick!

I forgot to say In the video, but my smell and taste is back. My smell more than my taste. I’m still having a little bit of a hard time picking up flavors when there is more than a one note flavor. Most food just take kind of bland.

Gosh it's been thirty four yrs ago since I bought my home and now we're remodeling and it has been an on going process trust me one day it will end lol.... Looking forward to seeing your finished product it will only get better cause it's already awesome by the way I love those stair trails also
Once you get exposed, you have to wait 5-7 days to get tested so that it can potentially develop in your body. So maybe when you tested negative, it just hadn’t developed yet.

I saw a picture of your Mom with your grandma in the hospital no mask hugging her etc. It had me pretty worried and shocked. Seems like she's not being careful. Celebrating all sorts of stuff. Terrible.
We’ve had many conversations about it, and all I can say is she has a different view of the virus than I do.

Please STAY HOME. You started this video saying you were out getting a drink. Why are you leaving your house at all? Now the people you purchased the drink from have been exposed. Does someone in your family have to die before you act responsibly?
We did contactless curbside pickup, literally no one come in contact. That’s the whole idea behind CONTACTLESS. Not to mention Jess is the one that got the drinks, who was no longer contagious. I love how everyone thinks they are a detective on here and they’re going to bust us for not quarantining. You have no clue.
