Some people call it drag but it’s more suitably known as a dilla swing. It’s not just sloppily dragging the beat, but rather playing quintuplets or septuplets, or other similar variations.
Heaps of people do this, try Jacob Collier or Nubian Twist

So in my jazz band for middle school i was the last drummer to join by like a week after school started, everyone thought i was bad because i “could play fills” (i couldnt read them, now i can) and one day i came in early and was playing with my friend and did a really cool looking and sounding fill, everyone one said “you can play that but not those easy fills on the sheet.”
