- In this video, I did a review and teardown of XTAR's latest VC8C battery charger. It can perform fast charging with up to 3A of charging current. It can also measure the capacity of the battery. www.xtar.cc/product/XTAR-VC8S...

Very well done. Cool, calm and collected. I saw what I needed to see. Thank you very much.
Brilliant, very helpful, thank you
The design explains why the battery IR measurements are inconsistent.
Thanks. Now I don't have to take mine apart to see what's inside.
Very helpful good job👏
the resistors at the center is probably being used as a fuse. I've seen similar 050 in power supplies.
I have a SkyRC MC3000, so far, I'm quite impressed by it, only used on NiCd, NiMH and Li-ion, though.
I think that the 3 abbreviations you listed rather exhaust all the possibilities of the general principle and chemistry of the cells that can be charged in this type of device. Unless I have missed something and you are still using some other type of cells that I have forgotten.
@@elpolaco7654 There exist LiPo and LiFePo. My unit can do LiFePo, but not most LiPo, but I don't have either of them.
@@elpolaco7654 LiFePo4, NiZn perhaps
What is the name of power supply, for VC8S ?
My channel 5 and 6 is broken. Any clue how to repair it?
Return it. The first one I bought channel 5 was not working at all, so I returned it a got a replacement which is perfect.
