@@MacrossGaragethanks but damn I need IG first of all lol
😅
Thank you so much for the video and the link. The centerstand is too much of a pain in the ass. I am a tiny woman and my body weight just isnt enough to get the bike on the stand, so I need another person, no matter how much I practice it takes too much energy to get the damn thing on. This is a lifesaver. Thanks again!
Also noticed you have the same rack I ordered. Both the maker of the rack and honda screwed up on the rear holes. We have to drill the fender and the rack to get the bolt to align properly. It's definitely frustrating.
A good grip and angle makes a big difference. Thats how i am withe heavier bikes.
@@redkellbell6169 one side was off a little bit. I had to push down on the fender a little bit to get it to align. Even then the initial threading was difficult.
Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome
Yours went in so smooth compared to mine. I had to grind down that ear that fits up under the right foot peg, the bracket wouldn't swing into place under the engine if I didn't and the bolt holes wouldn't have lined up. It still makes contact with the foot peg for the support, but man, I think they sent me one that was just a little off. A little grinding and some paint/primer and you can't even tell. Otherwise, it was a nice addition to my Cub :D
Yea mine went smooth. Your was either was poor quality or you had an early version and they recently corrected it.
@@MacrossGarage Not sure, I only got it just a couple weeks ago. It's all good, though, after I did that everything worked fine and now it has that nice motorcycle lean it should have from the factory
Thank you for your video. Would it be possible to fit the side stand bracket below the footrests plate, instead of above between the engine and footrests plate. If so, this might prevent having to adjust the brake pedal or have the effect of lowering the footrests?
I’ve never tried it that way. It might be possible. The stand sit really high as it is, placing it that way will make it sit even higher.
Ok, thanks.
Further, where did you purchase it from? I can't find any when googled!
@@andymitchell3592I put the link in the description.
Looks great! Passenger foot pegs, and a batter tender lead next?
Thank you. Battery tender for sure. As far as the foot pegs, not sure I want to drill into painted body parts. We’ll see.
I’m not sure of drilling into the frame either, although I was thinking I could cover them with plastic plugs if it didn’t work well. I’d also love to see a USB port if you instal one…
@@user-cb9qh1ku4w I will look into both and we will see.
Thank you that was interesting. I don’t find the centre stand too much of a faff but I admit that a side stand would be a nice extra. No safety cut-out feature though, in case you forget to flip the stand back before riding off…………or does this stand flip back on its own when you move the bike to vertical?
It actually sits high and doesn't lean the bike as low as others I feel. The height does make tend to make it flip up if you forget to lift it when you take off, but it wont flip up obviously if you go backwards.
Can wire a micro switch to the side stand hooked up to a warning light on the dash reminding you that the side stand is down.@@MacrossGarage
@@jimmyng6677good idea but so far I haven’t had any issues with forgetting it.
