How to Adjust Carbon Belt Tension on an eBike (no phone app required)

Tools needed:
- Ruler or measuring tape
- 5mm allen key
- 4mm allen key
- Torque wrench

New to ebikes and especially to single speed bikes. So what does this actually do? For example, will you find it easier to pedal that bike once you've loosened the tensioner bolt? Is what you're doing here the equivalent to downshifting on a regular bike with gears?
