    Hi, after run through problem #4, it says - after i've uploaded both the UNO and the NANo the ArduinoISP - that everything is okay.
    However after that, when i try to upload the 'blink' program to the nano, it says it uploaded it, but it did not work. I tried other programs, or changing the blink to output the led to pin 9, but its just won't work.
    The output is this:
    Reading | ################################################## | 100% 0.31s
    avrdude: verifying ...
    avrdude: 2146 bytes of flash verified
    avrdude done. Thank you.
    What can be the problem?

    I ordered an Arduino uno(no small or smd version) supposed to be genuine.
    I need to use A4 input to read voltage or use Ina219 to read current sense.
    Regardless I do, I have no answer if I use a4 input. If I measure with a voltmeter A4 and Gnd I'll read 5volts.
    I am able to upload code.
    Is this a bad board? A4 shouldn't be present 5 volts I think.

    Hi there
    I don't have a UNO, so I couldn't do the bootloader step.
    My Win 11 shows my Nano clone on COM 3, CH341 is installed, baud-rate: 9600
    I've tried to make the Nano blink using the example in Arduino IDE 2.1.0 (also 1.8.19).
    Board: Arduino Nano
    Port: COM3
    Processor: ATmega328P (ATmega328P old)
    What I see is:
    Using Port : COM3
    Using Programmer : arduino
    Overriding Baud Rate : 115200
    avrdude: ser_open(): can't set com-state for "\\.\COM3"
    avrdude done. Thank you.
    Fehlgeschlagenes Hochladen: Hochladefehler: exit status 1
    I've used four cables.
    Any advice? Thanks in advance

      First remove your arduino from the module and program it, ( sometimes modules use TX and RX pins of arduino which prevent arduino to code when connected)
      If it doesn't works for you, simply try to bootload your Arduino!

    I followed all the steps, but when "Burl bootloader" says "Invalid device signature." Device signature = 0x000000. Keepek the connection, I uploaded the blink test, both the UNO and NANO blinked.
    But the NANO alone is not recognized by windows, no changed in Device Manager. Once it worked, than started to say "Error installing device" and now nothing happens. Is the NANO damaged?

    • @mission_critical
      @mission_critical  Před 5 lety +1

      Yes, if you see " invalid device signature" I think your nano is static damaged! , But still try installing drivers in accordance to your USB communication ic!

    Went through each step and still cant get my nanos to upload the ide consistantly. I usually see this error:
    avrdude: ser_open(): can't open device "\\.\COM3": Access is denied.
    Problem uploading to board. See www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload for suggestions.
    I've gotten the nanos to work a couple times, but they will usually show that error message. After installing the drivers and burning the bootlader with my uno, even the uno will show this error message at times. Any thoughts?

    Subscribed! I've been dogged by a problem lately that makes sense now that I've seen it. I recently upgraded the IDE to ver. 1.8.9 on Linux. Until that point I was able to upload to my nano clones using the Genuino Uno settings, although for whatever reason, selecting Nano did not work. Watching this video, I got the idea to look at the bootloader and found a new option to use the "old bootloader." Selecting that, along with "Arduino as ISP" under Programmer and now everything works as expected. Thanks for the guidance!

    If anything goes wrong while burning bootloader into NaNo, will it damage my working UNO?

    • @mission_critical
      @mission_critical  Před 5 lety +1

      No, luckily Arduino Uno is safe and prone to take those kind of mistakes, just don't over power it, ( don't supply 15 v or so on 5 V pins ) other than that, if you make mistake while bootloading, simply go again and follow the steps again

    • @mission_critical

      I think there must be some problem with your hard disk on computer, definately not Arduino problem, this is simply not possible for Arduino to crash your pc, definitely get your pc checked
