    The clasp has a spring in it. It will always magnetize.

    silver nickels have a large mintmark above the building, and any dime, quarter, half or dollar before 1965 in 90% silver.
    Enjoyed your video, thank you

      War nickels are only 40% silver and they are the nickels that have silver.

    The bracelet at 17:00 is Krementz, which is a high quality costumer jeweler. It is still worth reselling, even though it is not gold.

    One note is silver can turn green if it’s stored in certain plastic containers especially plastics with PVC! Just FYI. Thanks for video

      Yes, but this is pretty rare. 5 years of buying thousands of pounds of sterling and tens of thousands of coins and I saw it very very little. But it’s good to note that yes it is possible. Thanks again for watching!

    clasp can be magnetized due to the spring build inside it. note gold nor silver are soft metal not advizable for making spring.

    I think you mean "magnetic," not "magnetized." Good, basic info though - I especially like the tip to bring a loupe - I'm often surprised at how many who frequent yard sales, thrift stores, etc., don't carry one. Thanks!

    I enjoyed your video, but war nickels between 1942 and 1945 are only 40% silver and they are the only nickels that have any silver. All other silver change 1964 and prior are 90%.

    Does or can a regular black magnet find real gold ? If not where can I find a metal magnet like u have? And does it stick to real silver or does it not like it don't stick to real gold? Thank u for this video! Its very informative ❤

    I watched your video over and over. Please make more videos. One of the things I wanted to let you know is there is a really cool tool to check gold to see if it's real. You can pick one of these scanners for $50 and it works on gold and silver. I'm thinking about buying one of the gold lock scanners but I'm not sure. Has anyone else bought one?

    • @ResellerRevolution
      @ResellerRevolution  Před 5 lety

      Thank you so much for watching. There are a few different tools on the market but I’ve never used any of them. I think that if having something to help verify your coins helps you then you should get one. For me, I learned from a jeweler/coin dealer so I had lots of hands on experience. But for a beginner or even a long time collector, you can never be too sure.

    Can you do a video on what a pile of the sterling silver stuff is actually worth? This is so interesting. Or maybe taking it to someone who buys it for melting.

    • @ResellerRevolution
      @ResellerRevolution  Před 5 lety

      Sure!! The value varies depending on the price of gold and silver per oz. it also varies, depending on where you take it. Precious metal values change daily. They will eb and flow with the economy. Thank you so much for watching!
