To make it work, they could do something like Star Fox 2 where the whole game is played in All-Range Mode. That way everyone could freely move around the area in each stage.

@@TechnoTejay I was thinkin' it would be players 2-4 are in All-Range Mode and player 1 is in the normal mode for the stage!
The All-Range Mode would follow Player 1 as they move through the stage imo!
