My biggest fear is getting interrogated because I do so many of these “guilty signs” in my everyday life haha
I just commented that too lmao.
Don't be interrogated. Ask for a lawyer immediately.
thats why none of these "guilty movements" are subject to be used against you they have no liability in court.
This channel will call out any little thing as guilty, guess I will suck during interrogations 😂
Haha same
What I've learned is that if a detective says, "If we catch the person that did this what should happen to them?" You're screwed.

yes because majority of shit narrator is fake and real interrogators never draw conclusions from "red flags". Lying is a very complex issue,Someone who has anxiety would immediately get locked up according to this narrators logic if cops would take those "red flags" serious.
True that...everything's a sign 😂
Yep. Get a lawyer. I have a severe anxiety disorder, maniac episodes, and am being diagnosed with DID. A ton of the signs that were pointed out are things I do when I get anxious, and that happens pretty easily.
@@MisterPuggles You know, I do too, because of anxiety. But the signs are definitely different in context. I wouldn't be nervous about the actual case because I'd know I was innocent, but I'd be anxious just talking to a police officer and sitting in an interrogation room lol. Any experienced interrogator would know the difference. (Also, this channel isn't super deep on the analysis so I wouldn't take that too seriously tbh, not everything is a red flag.)

In Japan, people usually man up and confess. Trying to escape punishment for something you did is cowardly, whether you try to talk your way out or get a lawyer.

I LOVE when they ask the perp "what do you think should happen to the person who did this" Its like teaching a 3 year old a lesson.
But it's an intersting one... An innocent person would come up with the most brutal punishment he could think of, while the perpetrator would likely be vague and rather moderate with his answer.

19:15 When the guy says "Just over two months have passed... so it doesn't make sense that Mark is struggling to remember", I'm thinking I can't remember what I ate for lunch yesterday. The moral of this story is if you are innocent, do NOT talk to police. If you are guilty, then by all means you are probably smart enough to talk your way out of it.
You don't remember what you had for lunch because having lunch is routine. Your brain deletes that information because it's frankly not important. Taking a trip to a town 6 hours away is out of the ordinary. Most people can remember various details about trips they take out of town, like about when they left, where they stopped, what they did, when they returned, etc.

My law teacher back in college gave the best advice. If it's important enough that the police want to talk to you "down at the station" then it's important enough to have legal council present.

To answer your question though, no I never went to law school and I never said that. You assumed that so you could jump in and make fun of me. Yeah, helping to cover up for a brother who brutally murder a young woman and getting 3 years of probation just doesn't seem right... especially when we KNOW of people, relatives and strangers, who do decades for similar crimes.
I have a cousin who went prison for driving the car of his gang, which, that night, killed another gang member. That cousin had just gotten out of prison, after close to 25 years. I don't feel any sorry for the cousin; when you run around with killers, you should be punished, when your pals kill other human beings, gangs or not.
So, again, this brother of the killer getting 3 years of probation for working so hard to hide his brother's heinous murdering of a stranger who just happened to want to do some extra work for her children... it's outrageous.
My father's side of the family did the same thing everytime he ran from the cops after beating my mother. Now he's a heavy addict that still beats woman and lives with his mom.

Can you please upload a similar video to these but this time the suspect is actually innocent but highly suspected of a crime ?
I wanna see what if it's in fact an innocent person is being integrated
I think that there are actually a couple of videos where the suspect turns out to be innocent or at least not alone in the crime
@@boardmandave i think a good one is the one where they interrogate a couple and the girl knows nothing about the crime, her name was kat and the name of the video "was something like girlfriend doesnt know she was sleeping in the same house as two dead bodies." the kid had killed his parents

This channel relies on glorifying
Reid technique, an invalid procedure, widely criticized and banned in several countries. Also this red-flag shamanism is straight-up BS. You can't tell this fairy tale for an hour and then finally reveal "But well, not this time". As a side note, Reid technique sends people to jail so effectively, this could be pretty hard to find an interesting case where detectives tried hard and the innocent got away. The innocent just fail, and you don't know the truth, or it they are smart they have a lawyer and no video then.
Go watch American Nightmare
I can’t imagine the horror that woman camping must have felt finding a dead body. That area is so beautiful. It’s so awful what happened to this poor girl.
It always amazes me how they arrest somebody, put them in the interrogation chair, and start asking completely arbitrary random questions. And the suspects just answer, as if it's totally normal to be arrested and asked 50 questions about your entire life history.
Any non guilty person would just cut the crap and ask what's going on.
exactly lol. if you don’t ask “What’s going on” within the first three statements you’re guilty 🤣
doesnt completely prove guilt, but I would say it is pretty indicative that they know exactly whey theyre there and are thinking of a story
I think guilty people want to seem as agreeable as possible at that point to gain the detectives favor whereas an innocent person isn't so concerned with the detective's perception of them
these people aren’t arrested though, most the time they’re in here for voluntary questioning, they might be detained after a certain point in questioning though.
that thought always goes through my mind watching these! i’m high strung naturally so i’d be freaking out demanding answers on why i’m there ! you can just tell they’re guilty because they aren’t doing that because they already know why they’re there !
What I've learned from watching all this true crime stuff, is if a detective brings you in for questioning, ALWAYS ask for a lawyer.
No way dude, otherwise there will be no new content. You can totally explain everything away, because you're the greatest person in the world, and cops will recognize that simple fact, and definitely will not use anything you say against you.
Also, if your last name is gooch, you should strongly consider changing it to taint instead.
This guy would’ve got away with it if he did
"You have a right to a lawyer" You have a right to remain silent" You have a right to have a lawyer present when being questioned? what don't they understand?
@@SuperTruthful Many people think that asking for a lawyer will make them look guilty, same with remaining silent. They think they can lie or talk their way out of suspicion. They often don't realize that the interrogator knows *much* more than they are letting on, and even if they do they don't know exactly what the interrogator knows.
I've been interviewed a handful of times for investigations concerning coworkers, and had the privilege of seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff after the cases were resolved. A lot of people think that an interrogation is a poker game. It really isn't; the deck is stacked, and the interrogator already knows what's in your hand.

I'm a retired police officer that was trained in the Reid technique amongst others. We understand that deception indicators can be completely natural. Also, the technique will not brain wash you into confessing to a crime you didn't commit. My advice, if concerned, is to exercise your 5th amendment and 6th amendment. Be quiet, get a lawyer. It will increase suspicion and evidence gathering surrounding you but if you are innocent, that should not bother you at all.
Everything you’ve written is a red flag guilt indicator 😂

@@Picksurethis I don’t know why statistics hurt your feelings. This is a fact, both with police and jurors who are polled, post judgment. I absolutely respect people’s right to make their own decisions, but it doesn’t make a person appear innocent no matter how much you’d like that to be the case.
I’m aware, it’s unfortunate that exercising your rights would make you more suspicious considering no one nor the system is perfect. Too many people are put away, reputation ruined because of mistakes, corruption, etc. we both know it’s used as a tactic to get someone to invoke their rights.

In any event you completely missed the point, which is that there's no benefit to assuming they're not bluffing and admitting to things they're saying they have proof of because it's often a bluff as it was here wrt the license plate reader.
Let's say I robbed a store after hours, thinking I had successfully sneaked in unseen, and took the surveillance camera with me. If I got arrested and interrogated (assuming I was dumb enough to talk without a lawyer present) , and the detective asked "What would you say if I told you there's a witness that can place you at the scene at the time of the robbery?".
I tell him to suck my dick, because either it's true or it's a bluff. If it's true It's a problem. If it's a bluff it's not a problem. The smart move to assume it's a bluff because and tell him to pound sand because that way you're not going to incriminate yourself.

So even though it sounded like they were quite close, they did the right thing.
Probably wasn't his real friends and saw the evil in him. Many people have friends but they could honestly care less about them..
Given the circumstances loyalty it out the window. He killed an innocent, decent woman. Who as far as I know, never hurt anyone nor did she even remotely deserve this. He was a serial killer. But luckily caught after murdering his first victim. No doubt in my mind he would’ve been abducting and killing woman associated with the Mennonite people. He may have even started taping them too, before killing them. And maybe even after…. It’s a good thing they caught him so fast. What amazes me is that nobody saw him take her out there to the kill site. And nobody heard the gun shot or seen him so it. Even in rural areas like that, there’s always someone besides you…. I live in rural America and can say without doubt you are never alone….
@@JacobStone-cx3mg if they saw the evil in him & decided to do something about it then at some point they were definitely his "real" friends. The fact people talk SO MUCH is amazing.
I would be 100% screwed in an interrogation, whether I did something or not because I do all of these things during normal conversation due to anxiety disorder.
I grew up in an abusive household and speaking wasn't something I did or was allowed to do. If I did attempt to speak, I was interrupted or slapped and I've found that speaking to people even now in my 40s is extremely difficult. I can text/type with no issues, but face to face conversation is painful.
They'd definitely think I was guilty just because of my anxiety (CPTSD), even though I'd never hurt a fly. I never plan to put myself in this situation though.
It’s okay because none of these behaviors can be used against you, they are just a method of trying to get the truth out of a suspect so they themselves can confess or incriminate themselves with something else
you're convicted based on evidence and your story, not how you act in interrogation. but your behavior helps them
