Because of Damien leaving the person who this channel belongs to uploaded a video to hire other readers. That's also why the person always changes, it's just different readers for the same channel. There's usually never any trace of the shed skin (you do have to check their little toes to make sure nothing got stuck). There are many theories about why they eat it, the most popular are so predators don't find it and/or bc it has nutritional value. It's really funny to watch though.
