The Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge, located in the picturesque Kananaskis Valley in Alberta, Canada, is a luxurious mountain retreat offering a blend of modern amenities and natural beauty.
Located just an hour from Calgary, the lodge provides a convenient escape into nature while offering accommodations and amenities to families and people seeking a retreat from normal life.
We stayed here in June 2024 to celebrate our 7th anniversary.
Notably, the availability of hiking trails in the village and surrounding Kananaskis area meant that there was never a shortage of things to do.
Kananaskis is well known for its abundance of outdoor activities, which include world-class hiking as well as mountain biking, river rafting, kayaking, and more.
