One thing that's really deserving of credit here is the clear musical literacy of the developers; they aren't just picking whatever they think sounds like Hideki Naganuma or pointlessly attempting to appeal to nonexistent demographics with songs that have no association to JSR. If Jet Set Radio 3 came out today, the track heard in this trailer and others like it would be core to its soundtrack - and that's exactly why this game is Jet Set Radio 3. It doesn't even feel like a fan or indie production. It just feels like the third game that SEGA could never produce.

i agree with you, but also wanna throw in that Hideki Naganuma himself is doing music for this game. it was one of the biggest announcements for the game's production and I cant wait to hear what he cooked up because with him on the team I know the vibes will be as genuine as he himself

I’m hyped for the ost but I have a couple tracks I wanna play while I play this game. I even emailed the team to see if they wanted to use some of the songs I had in mind
BRC has remained my most anticipated game since its initial reveal. Eveything about this looks phenomenal.
It looks AMAZING! I just hope that they add the crowds of people and moving cars, the city looks a bit empty in this trailer. 😟

Im sure the draw distance on switch is gonna be heavily reduced compared to the steam version. This is switch gameplay in the trailer.

At this point I'd buy the soundtracks multiple times, cause "Get Enuf" and "Big City Life" both got me hyped up af for the release.
This barely being announced in the Indie direct just now, in the final reel montage with a bunch of other games, was the Best announcment!
Only thing that sucked was not having This trailer actually in the Indieworld showcase, only having a few clips from it along with the date.

@@ok_listen These aren't ex JSR devs. The only carry over from the JSR series is the composer who's contributing music for BRC as well.

Gen Z will never understand how groundbreaking Jet Set Radio was when it came out. Those graphics were something else. I don't understand why the colors of this game are more muted though. Just compare the blue skies
