The reason the defenders aren't an even number is because if they're placed on buildings, it deletes the unit instead of just pushing them elsewhere.

Next video your challenge is to set up 4 huge forces of zombies and orcs (with a couple of ogres?) around the city on the new map and have some decent units (but not mega OP like the spartans, heavy knights maybe? ) to defend it. You are allowed to take control and order your men what to do. The goal is to protect the city centre. If it is surrounded, with none of your men near it, you lose. You would have to protect all the paths to it and it would be more about tactics than how good the units are on each side. You are also allowed some archers, but not many. Also, the full amount of units don't spawn in if they collide with the environment

Backstory -
The Zombies had ransacked most of the outposts around the area, the Humans stood no chance, but the Spartans were going strong, they were able to kill the Zombies, and took this to their advantage. The Spartans had turned on mankind and began attacking Human forces. The other Human nations allied with one another in hopes to help the Human race, but only came to crushing defeats against the Zombies and Spartans. Eventually, the Humans were pushed back to a small Castle and were left to defend on their own, their commanders were dead, and so were their Governments. They were basically Exiled forces, fighting for nothing but Humanity.
Remember to use the rank shape to fit units in narrow spots and obscure terrain. Also, great video!

1) Make them stay in line with eachother and when a unit departs from a group a small group will follow and if they find the way to the enemies a unit will run back with 20% speed buff and have a point animation and all the units in a area will follow him
2) When there are arrows people will form a shiekd turtle and when they're close they charge
3) Archers will use daggers
4) Zombies feed on dead corpses animation after the battle

Baron you should re-do the battle by changing the rank shape to fit the Spartans perfectly on a choke point. This can make the battle more epic (huge corpse wall), more accurate, and more in favour of the Spartans.

troyboy61 _ Eventually, I have adjust it all and fit it all perfectly. In UEBS, They got 8 units and I put 8 different type of soldiers in full units. So as I said. I fit it all perfectly..

7,000 Spartans (divided into groups to make a half circle shield-wal around the end)
3,000 footmen from the east (shows up when the battle is almost lost)
when you place an army, if there's a barrier in the way, like a building, the game just deletes units in the way of that barrier. that's why sometimes you had uneven amounts and stuff

I think some people didn't understood what the idea of the movie 300 was. Of course it's not accurate because first is based on a super stylised graphic novel based on the historical event. And second, it's supposed to be told through one of the spartans as a story which gets into the myth level, exaggerating certain facts so what we are observing is the warriors's imagination which are listening to the story, in order to get them interested and even excited into going to battle.

Have the Persians be in hold position mode face opposite direction of the Greeks to simbilise the Greeks ambushing the Persians
hey 2 tips for you....
the reason the 1st battle had the wrong number is units wont spawn on buildings. also if you change the formation to say a decimal for example .7 they become skinner left to right. and if you make the number larger than 1 say 12 they lose depth and grow left to right.

500 cavalry in a long canyon. Along the sides are archers at hold position. And at the end are footman guarding a few archers. Buff the cavalry to 2x their current stats. Keep everything else the same. I was waiting for cannons but there are none so I guess this works ;)

Darksougamer Anonomous Yeah, Chunk Norris has 1,000,000 health, but every time you hit the bottom of that number, it resets. Chunk Norris is literally invincible.

That was a really weird Battle of Jerusalem. I mean, King David did fight in a battle of Jerusalem; but he and his men were the ones attacking, against the Jebusite who held the city at the time. The Assyrians attack 300 years later against King Hezekiah but failed to take the city. The first non-Hebrews to take the city were the Babylonians 100 years after that, and Zedekiah as King of Judah (basically Isreal). Still fun battle though, I just thought you'd like to know.

I wonder if when the bodies started piling (spartan vs persian section) if you had ordered an attack and pushed back I wonder if you'd have won or killed more.
A suggestion for the next battle could be at the same bridge, but instead of 300 Spartans 500 ww2 soldiers modified to have 5 times the attack speed of the normal against regular Persians (not modified) and have 10000 of those charging the bridge. Make sure to have the ww2 people holding position.

In the first battle you set the chickens as the defenders so they added to the defenders numbers and thats why that group of heavy knight join the battle on the hill after the main group
Use the formation change to make the Spartan formation really thin, and put them ON the bridge, and then add as many Persians as possible.
Do 10,000 Persians and 100 super cav as elephants vs 300 super Spartans
