As a KU fan I'm all for it!! Two midwest basketball states with some fantastic early-season games recently. We're an NCAA tourney matchup away from cementing that rivaly. Great game Dayton props to the Freshmen gutting it out

@@pierrecausemybladdersempty1678 Kansas was the #4 team in the country, while Dayton had a losing record. If Kansas had played well, it shouldn't have even come down to a buzzer beater, not matter how awkward or well-contested or low-percentage that shot was.
If a game goes down to a last-second shot, then the coach who's in charge of the much better team with the much better roster of players probably didn't do a good job. Even if the defense on that last-second shot was good.
Actually, even if that shot hadn't gone in, Kansas wouldn't have played a great game. Or are you telling me that the #4 team in the country should be aiming for 1 point wins over opponents with losing records that are in the 100s on Kenpom? Is that supposed to be a good result?

What a last shot. Ouch. Nice game by Dayton. People act like Kansas losing 1 game and won't make a run in March. They said the same thing when we lost to UCONN in 2019, but by March 2020 we were #1. It literally took the earth to come to a halt to stop us. Good luck Dayton, ya'll played well and hard and deserved this win for sure. Good luck through to March.

Well usc was undefeated at that time too, but both got upset on the same day leaving none left, baylor lost 2 back to back in their own home, embarrassing.

They knew they were major underdogs and played their hearts out! Kansas thinks they are God’s gift to basketball and are invincible, especially playing a lowly team like Dayton and it showed.
I read 40 pages of teeth-gnashing posts on the Kansas basketball fan board-BOOHOO!
I enjoyed every word of their disbelief and anguish!
Our guys are young, are still learning AG’s system and how to play with each other, most of them total strangers only a few months ago.
I keep playing the highlights over and over, plus the audio of our longtime Dayton radio announcers on the winning shot. My heart still pounds!
It may never get old!
Win or lose tomorrow, the arena will be rocking on Wednesday. One of the KU fans on the message board was amazed at the huge number of Dayton fans traveling hundreds of miles to cheer for a 1-3 team. Obviously, he is clueless, lol.
