This might as well be the default national championship for 2020.
9:15 changed the outset of the entire game. I really wanted Dayton to get this one, great fight from them to the end though.
That three to tie the game was insane at the end
Best college basketball game I ever watched. What an atmosphere in that tiny gym in Maui
Obi Toppin might be the coolest name in college basketball.
He's the best damn dunker in the nation
Mac Mcclung is a pretty good name too. And a good dunker for that matter.
Joel Muhs MAC hasn’t dunk crazy tho In college
What a game. Both teams played really well. Both teams played their guts out and left it all out there from beginning to end. I'm very impressed with the endurance of both teams playing three games in three days and playing at such a high level. When Kansas got down by 8 in the second half I thought that it might be over, but they showed some toughness to get back into it. We have a game of the year contender and it's still only November. Dayton is going to be a tough out all year long and Kansas looks like it is starting to find it's identity, which is a scary thought for everyone else that has to play them.
What a game. Great fight from both teams. KU improving by the game, and I would not wanna be anywhere near Dayton come March.
Dayton gets no respect. From a KU fan, these guys are gonna sneak up on a lot of people, even in their own conference. They can PLAY
They could win their conference if they play their cards right.
No shit, they are might be a better tourney team than Kansas, just not used to seeing somebody the size of africabukey. But these rims are stupid soft. So if Dayton held on and won this game it wouldn’t really matter.
@@santaclause3487 If they wouldn't of won this game it wouldn't have mattered? Put the Crack pipe down they would be a #1 seed in the Tourney and they would be ranked like #3 or #2
Luke A I mean it matters a little, but these tourney games in Hawaii are like exhibitions. Both teams going to the dance. Dayton doesn’t have the sos to be a 1 seed
I mean they are ranked 4 now
Rock Chalk baby!!!!!
If Dayton would’ve won this game, they would be top 3 in the country right now
daniel gravino we are top three
Cappaccino Dejene now we are that was a week ago. Go flyers 🤘🏽
They would be #1 right now 🤣
I'm calling a Kansas Vs Dayton rematch in the Elite 8 for the rights to go to the Final Four. It would only be fitting to have a part 2 to the game of the year.
What a game...
Definitely in contention for game of the year.
So this was the game of the year, and rematch we were robbed of in the Final Four last season.
Agreed, this was the best game I saw that season! In the 2019-2020 season, I believe Kansas and Dayton would have been in the final four. It's hard to be for sure. But Dayton had shooters everywhere, and a Player Of The Year in Obi Toppin. And very athletic everywhere else. Kansas was deep, experienced, and had the best 1-2 combo in Dotson and Azubuike. It really sucks that 2020 has no champion.
Game of the year
I’m loving these basketball highlights!
I do a lot more on my second channel Highlight Nation
awesome game.
Well played game by both teams.....can't wait for the big Tournament to see how both teams are doing !! RCJH
Dok with the block and the Dikembe Mutombo figure wag at 10:35. Lucky a ref didn't see it otherwise probably would have gotten the technical.
This was the national championship this season
i was a mile away during this
Kk would of won the national championship if there wasn’t stupid covid
Azabuke was cooking Obi in the post!!!
Classic game
I am starting a college basketball channel dedicated to highlights about college basketball and I am wondering where you get your clips at
If you don't know what I mean ask me
not just obi but the loss of landers and mikesell has hurt Dayton so much this year
why are so many fouls called down low? these plays look clean to me, however i’m watching on my phone. am i missing something?
They had to protect Kansas they weren't gonna let an A10 team beat them
Luke A even though Dayton looked better
So sad Dayton lost
22-2 now!
@@GrubWarp The 2019-2020 CBB Season was so great. Dayton and Kansas were legit title contenders. I wish we had a tournament!
So close...
That guy looked on Dayton looked like Jason taytum
I watched this game live. Had the refs called this game fair it never would've went to overtime Dayton would've won relatively easily. Refs were clearly bias in favor of Kansas on the whistle. Refs were calling a foul everytime a KU player got breathed on while not calling KU for obvious fouls on the other end.
Dayton got hosed.
lol
It was a ton of missed foul calls for Dayton
Poor effort by Dayton in guarding Devon. Those layups made by Devon are crucial to Dayton's control over the whole game. Refs did missed a few calls.
Poor effort by Dayton? If they had such a poor effort how were they up by 8 at a point in the game?
Luke A and our best perimeter defender in Rodney got in foul trouble
Devon was definitely a factor. He was getting to the rack as well as any PG in the country. I am a KU fan but I know Dayton would have elevated the hell out of their program with a Final Four/National Title that year (2020). It sucks we didn't have a tourney. Depending on seeding, Dayton, Kansas, Baylor, and Gonzaga are pretty good bets. USA today had an article where they ran a simulator and Kansas and Dayton were in the title game. 66-65 KU. But that doesn't mean anything, Dayton is a great program and so criminally underrated!
Kentucky was peaking late in the year too, many other teams could have made the Final Four. But I really liked KU, Baylor, and Dayton that year especially.
