that's why shai will always be my favorite rapper no matter what. He might not rap like he did in the "The Solus Christos Project" but he keeps the gospel and the Lord Jesus at the center of his rhymes. I feel personally Christian Hip-Hop has lost "its touch" that as of late. I just love hearing Christians Hip-Hop and being able to say "Hey that's Psalms 45 vs. 6-7 or That's 1st Thessalonians 4 v. 3!" We need more humble rappers
Wish S.O., StL and Timothy was with them for this video. Absolutely love LM!!! I can't get enough of the piano beat in 'The End?' Perfect way to close that video. Praise God!
LOLOLOL shai linne @ 15:19. Even the face...all of it hilarious. Also pretty sure I heard someone say 'cessationist'....nifty little teaser there, deejay essence lol
+lampmode I don't know if many of the others on there remember, but I can remember when you guys used to frequent a website called HipHopZone and think the other was Hip Hop Gateway lol...so, so many debates on that website...but I can remember hearing some oooooold material...back when Corey red still made Christian music, and Tunnel Ratz along with 4th Ave were recieving flames for being too watered down and worldly...#goodtimes #thedays

"Hip hop is the best way to tell a sermon".... what? No, a sermon is the best way to tell a sermon...If I want the depth I can get out of a sermon, I go to a sermon. Music is a great way to convey truths, but I don't think you can/should convey the same amount of content and detail equally between a song and a sermon. You have to write a song with the focus of that being a song. Not fitting a sermon into a song. That's backward songwriting. If the concepts of your song are too wordy and heady and filled with hifalutin concepts it ends up not only confusing the listener it's not a comfortable experience. Convey your message in song form, as a song and it will be an effective song...
I understand what Hazakim means when he says out of all music forms Hip Hop makes the most sense to do a sermon over, because of the amount of bars and lyrical structure. I get it now. But I still say that writing a rap song with the intent of it being a sermon over a hip hop beat is backward song writing.
Ok this is in response to y'alls video on homosexuality. Since the comments section was disabled, I'd like to comment on what was said concerning people that bring up Leviticus laws prohibiting homosexual behavior in the same breath as shellfish. One of you guys said that people who bring that up need more theological training when trying to argue from that position................ While it couldn't hurt to have some biblical understanding as well as cultural context, you guys should also make a point to say that biology, psychological understanding, chemistry, anthropology, world religions, sociology, neurological and physical sciences should be taken into account as well. Oh and don't forget biological evolution.
can you guys do a chopping block on relationships, dating, singleness.?????? with everyone from lamp mode. thank you
