JKs overhauls truly are some of the best Skyrim mods I have ever used. They make the game look amazing.

I blend JK's with HS mods. It's a good blend of different looks. I think works really well. Plus HS has Jazzy and LUX patches ready to go.

Good background music, good reviews of well-chosen mods according to my taste, which I don't have yet, short and concise without unnecessary bullshit. Good, not exaggerated, depressing sarcastic humor, the "friends" thing almost suffocated me - subscribed.
In conclusion, I would like to note that of all the CZcamsrs and reviews I have seen in the last year, this one is the best.

not exactly into fantasy games, but i had a blast with this one, most particularly all the underground maps. If you are into exploration, this is the game for it! its crazy to me how huge this game is

@@colehaar9049 Lol i have from day one. I hate to say it, but i haven't played the game without mods. I have seen enough footage though to be able to appreciate how good the mods are and how much the game is improved.

I just got into modding and it feels like a whole new game. Went from 0 mods to 32 active mods and growing. My favorite thing is my character, companions, and NPCs not looking like walking potatoes anymore!
Just out of curiosity, how many mods do you have now after a month?
@@alecraigan9662 Only up to 35 pretty happy with the look and feel of the game at this point. Once I finish my current playthrough I am going to try some full conversion mods to see what's out there.
@Fred Gilbert oh okay it looks like the curse of modding does not affect you , Me and 90 % of the community started with a few modes and 2 months later I'm at 195 XD

@@Viewer13128 Wow that is a tough one. I wouldn't do anything to modify the actual gameplay for the 1st playthrough too much. You really need to get a feel for what Skyrim is all about.
SKYUI is a base mod must 1st and foremost. Then maybe stuff to make your characters more diverse like bodyslide and race menu.
After that I would go for stuff that make your character, companions, and NPCs not look like Mr. Potato Heads. Stuff like CBBE, the Bijin Mods, Botox for Males and Females, Pride of Skyrim, Men of Winter, Male NPC overhaul, KS Hairdos, Facelight plus, Immersive Armors, Immersive Weapons, and Diamond Skin.
Then I would go for general graphics upgrades like Realistic Water two, Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Enhanced Light, and Majestic Mountains.
There are a couple of others as well such as Immersive Citizens, A Quality World Map, Bandit Line Expansion, and Serena Dialog Add-on I enjoy as well.
Also make sure to watch some videos on mod installation and mod order before you get started or you will be CTD all the time. I get all my mods from Nexus as I trust that source and I prefer Mod Organizer which is a bit more complicated that some of the others, but is much more flexible and helps you order the mods correctly.

I think a video about Skyrim modded followers would be a fun one! I was browsing through CZcams and came across Auri by accident. Liked her enough to download the mod and start playing Skyrim once again! A good follower can make or break a dedicated run.
Lucien and Inigo are two I never play without anymore, and their interactions *never* fail to make me smile - I would highly recommend them.
Maybe Nebarra if you like an Asshole Altmer who is Down To Clown,
or Xelzaz (especially if you're doing Survival - he cooks meals and makes potions if you ask him to!) who has *very* versatile reactions and a reputation system that determines his quests, if he'll leave, if you can convince him to stay when you do something he couldn't support, etc etc
Khash, if you want your character to have some of kind of character arc into a parental figure, lmao - Though her and Xel's interactions are *precious*, he's very good with kids!
Xel and Neb's interactions are... Well. It's clash of the egos, except one is snarky and the other is more polite
Lucifer will heal other followers when downed, including Modded Followers if he has interactions with them - and even is affected on Solstheim by Miraak! (Though, in my experience, its mostly just the voicelines. But I *think* he has a personal quest afterwards? I'd have to double check)
If you're looking for followers, I'd honestly just find one you like and look up what others they have interactions with. Not all of the lists will cross (see: Khash, Neb, and Xel not interacting with Inigo or Lucien [tho Neb and Lucien's authors are working on some!]; Lucifer having interactions with Inigo, Neb [highly recommend this duo - the dynamic is amazing], and Khash, etc etc. They all have bigger lists that that, but this is just from my playthroughs)
anyway you probably didn't want an essay in the replies, so sorry, but I felt the need to get it out there, lol

I started playing when I was 10 I fell in love with this game. I am 13 now I'm not old but I almost lost my happiness, but Skyrim kept me
happy.
I started playing it a decade ago, still playing it these days alongside newer games :) Same with Minecraft but I haven't tried mods there. I have friends who have played various Fallout games since they came out and decades later still play them with mods between newer games. There's always room for favorite old games :)

Just a heads up to everyone the gesture animation remix mod depends on dynamic animation replacer which does not work with the latest AE update and likely will not be updated to work with it any time soon

I've wanted to play modded skyrim for a while. Got a ps5 a couple of months ago and I'm that much closer to realizing my long held dream! Im so excited because I just found out i could mod on console. Before The ps5 I was rocking a very dusty ps3. My time has finally come!💥 great video!
I think that it would be a great Idea to add to the list of top mods some companion mods ( followers). There are few with own story lines and conversations

Sometimes, by the way folks describe things, I think they believe no game existed until the modders brought it into existence. Besides creation club, I have maybe 3 mods and I still love this game. But in all fairness, I did have a phase where I went modding crazy. But also in fairness, the I love the look of Fallout New Vegas as it is, with most of my mods for game stability.
Skyrim together, someone was telling me about this. The only draw back is making sure everyone on the team has same mods and has them stabilized so game doesn't keep crashing out. I'd love to play this, but damn... I love my crazy amounts of mods I put in.

I just changed from Legendary to SE, and appreciates all the available guides, coz it still need a lot of modding to be awesome. But my one of my greatest wishes is that someone would overhaul/redo all the npc voices that are made with cousins of Arnold Schwarzenegger, which feels like half of all the npc's. 😁
After years of playing skyrim and downloading mods, I decided to join the ranks of the modders myself. Granted what I've done doesn't even touch alot of those great mods out there. Even so it's a satisfying creative outlet.

I was using Lux for years but went back to ELFX cause they fixed so many issues and with ELFX Shadows, it works so good now. Lux went a little too far adding meshes all over the world.

Is anyone else having an issue on pc where say, a matching sheild for an ebony armour set is invisible when equiped? I can use ither sheilds that dont match. But for some reason i cant use my matching sheilds without them glitching. I dont have ANY mods installed.
