The plaintiff lives in the same senior home as the defendant, and they met because the plaintiff bought weed from him. The plaintiff claims he had an envelope of $500, but it fell out of his pocket. He says the defendant stole the money, so he’s suing. The defendant denies taking the money. He’s countersuing for defamation.
