Thanks for the video! 👍 I'm surprised that your fuel filter didn't have a bracket around it holding it onto the frame, in another video the gentleman had to loosen a bracket to remove his filter in addition to the fittings. I don't remember what year his was though, maybe a 2000 model. Also, before starting it up after the fuel has been purged from the lines like this you should prime the system by turning the key on and back off a few times. This runs the electric fuel pump intermittently to prime the system and then it should start right up.
According to Chilton's manual, and other guy's video, no need to remove the fuel relay. The vans have an automatic pressure relief system. Also if van has sat for a few days with no starting attempts, there will probably not be any pressure to worry about.
You have to loosen the outer most bolts on both ends of the fuel filter, correct? Just asking. I don't want to strip something off that isn't supposed to be removed. Thanks.

That's only in certain models. I think it's just the Engine 220 TBI, to be specific. Eighth character on VIN # is "Z"
