    About Poori--- Poori or Puri is a traditional Indian fried puffed unleavened bread made with only whole wheat flour, salt, and water. Make crispy, fluffy, and soft poori to enjoy with your favorite meals. It is eaten for breakfast or as a snack or light meal.

    Ingredients
    ½ cup all-purpose-flour
    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 tbsp oil
    ½ tsp salt
    1 cup water
    Oil for deep Frying
    About 2 ½ cups (600 ml)
    Method-----
    1. Sift together flour and salt into a bowl. Add oil. Mix with your fingers. Gradually add water, mixing and gathering flour to make a firm ball. Knead till dough is smooth and elastic ( about 2 minutes) Keep covered ½ hour.
    2. Knead dough briefly. Make 25 balls. Rub a little oil on rolling pin and board. Roll a ball of dough into a flat round 8cm in diameters. Roll out remain balls in the same way, gathering rolling pin and board occasionally.
    3. Heat oil in deep-fry pan on high heat for about 5 minutes. Add 1 round push down slightly with back of a perforated spoon. Poori should puff up in a few seconds. Turn over and fry on both sides till golden brown. Remove and grain. Fry remaining rounds in the same way. Serve hot and enjoy.
