I had the pleasure of exploring one of Stockholm's beaches in Södermalm, Stockholm. Although the weather was delightfully warm, the water didn't quite match my expectations for a comfortable swim-it was a tad chilly for my liking! Nonetheless, it was a unique experience, as Sweden isn't typically known for its sandy beaches. This little sandy haven nestled in the heart of Stockholm city could be a fun place to spend a summer day. I'm excited to share this brief adventure with you! Love //Ellie

Weather looks amazing there, how was the water temperature ?
The weather is just perfect here during summer time, not too cold, not too warm, just perfect 😍 not same during winter time though. They have long, cold and dark winter. Around 6 months of winter weather. The summer water temperature was around 14 C/ 57 F. Thanks for watching Gabriel 💕

I’m thinking of going there, on my own this summer. Do you think it’s safe enough if I leave my stuff unattended?
I think if you sit close to the water so you can have an eye on your stuff while in water, it should be safe. There are also some waterproof bags that you can buy and take with you inside the water. I personally use them when traveling alone and going for swimming 😎

there are more beaches like this in Södermalm ?
I’m not aware of any other beaches in Södermalm. Tando Strandbad is one of the popular ones in the city. There is also an island very close to Södermalm, called Långholmen and there is a beach there called Långholmens strandbad.
There are beaches on Långholmen, quite near there
