- ‘Dirty’ Dick Slater, a star from the late 1970’s until the mid-90’s, was the industry’s ‘Mr Unpredictable’, an untameable wildman between the ropes whose reputation as a performer paled in comparison to his reputation as a tough guy and hellraiser outside of the ring...

This sounds like a interesting series. I would definitely like to see more videos like this.
100% Agree!!
I agree. I love it.
Yeah! Do the Ken Patera incident one !
Same here, my thoughts exactly!
Go check out behind the titantron by wrestlamina
I never thought I see the day where Adam Pacitti has to deal with serious topics. Bring on some more of this content please.
Yeah... I am excited after watching this
Come along well since his GMTV interview many moons ago
"tam-pa" not Tam-pra" lol
Wrestling true crime is literally the perfect series for CZcams and y’all need to keep this up
You guys should cover Buck Zumhofe. He was Hunter Hearst Helmsley's first match and victory in the WWF. He is also a truly awful person.
@@theskeeboo guy was a chomo of the worst degree.
He feuded with and beat Bobby Heenan, so he can't be l bad. ;^)
Don't forget his feud with Bobby the brain henan
Yup. He and Hardbody Harrison.
You guys have been killing it with the content recently, loving all the new series and the editing has stepped up even more
I met this guy a few years back before he passed at the nursing home mentioned here. My company had an account at the place. While he wrestled before my time, I did look him up after I was told who he was. Apparently, he caused a good bit of trouble over there. He was nice to me however from what I remember.
How do you look up to someone just by hearing they were a wrestler once. He assaulted women, yet you looked up to him. Sickening.
@@mikestevens1801 if you just heard "this guy in the nursing home we work with used to be a wrestler", how tf would you know they had assaulted women? has wrestling been exposed as bad enough that that's just a default assumption now?😂and why wouldn't you, as a wrestling fan, hit up Google on a name in that situation? do you think websearching is difficult? where do you think Cultaholic got their info?
@@mikestevens1801 I mean, I guess I'm also sickening, I held an entire convo with BooRay without knowing that's the guy who killed The Gentleman Chris Adams. tut tut on me for not knowing then what I'd learn later!
@@mikestevens1801 re-read it he said he looked him up not looked up to him
@@mikestevens1801Go cry me a river, he was a legend!
Wrestling true crime!? Yes please.
I Want More of this PLease!! The old school wrasslers were CRAZY!!!
Great series concept and proof that even after being a wrestling fan for about 30 years there's stuff you can still learn about. Thanks for this.
Is this a new series?! I'm all in.
Cultaholic is easily producing some of the best content in wrestling CZcams. This was a brilliantly produced piece and would love to see more content like this.
You boys, rock.
This is a good start to what promises to be an interesting new series, and the best part is there's not going to be any shortage of material - there's enough dirty laundry and skeletons in the closets of those in the 'rasslin bidness to keep this series going for a while. Can't want to see more!
"I miss those days." Some guy named Mark Calaway.
Love rasslin love it🤣😂
I think I may have stumbled onto my new favorite series on this channel. Keep up the great work!
This needs to be a new series on the channel! I'm such a sucker for true crime and unfortunately there's a lot of wrestlers who you can cover
This was an incredible video! Really hoping you guys do more like these. Thank you all, mates!! The content you’re putting out is second to NONE 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Please consider doing more of these, it was very relaxing to listen to before work.
Might just be my new favourite series on the channel
I’ve never heard about this story before. Great video. I would love more of these.
Cultaholic continues to bring the great wrestling content. Honestly, this channel is my favorite source of entertainment in all of the internet.
Proud to be a fan.
I hope this series continues
Absolutely love all the history of wresting type videos you guys do, keep up the amazing work!
This is really well done, and a very interesting story. Some really tragic parts to it
This is some amazing content, thank you guys
I can’t wait to see who’s next in this series! Beautifully done!
Slater was great in the ring, and among the toughest wrestlers ever, up there with Race, Wahoo, Funk, and Haku.
Cultaholic continue to put out the most varied and quality wrestling centric content on CZcams. Genuinely amazes me how often they release a new series that hooks me episode one. Fucking bravo lads👏🏼
I am digging this...more of these would be nice. Thanks.
I didn't realize that Dick Slater was born in 1951. He was younger in the 1980s than I thought he was. His "rough living" made him look 20 years older.
Wrestling and Murder shows? Yes please
This fn great content! Keep it up boys!
Excellently done little bio - Ha! I always loved Dirty Dick Slater, he was a great heel back in the day on Championship Wrestling from Florida with the Man, Gordon Solie! Too bad his later life was so troubled but I have many grand memories of him yelling at the camera and looking like he meant it. Great heel. He and Jake Roberts could have been a truly scary heel tag team.
More. Please. I love it.
Awesome video! We want more of these!
I’m into this crime series!
There’s literally a never ending stream of content for this kind of series. Ken Patera, Dick Murdoch, Jake the Snake, Buck Zumohfe, more well known cases like Snuka or Benoit, Marty Jannety, The Nasty Boys when they damn near killed Ken Shamrock or… Take your pick on Vince McMahon lol. Wrestling really is seedy as fuck isn’t it?
Behind the titantron 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Buck Zumhofe makes me shudder so much.
Lol I just watched a video on that sick sob buck zumhof
Apparently Shamrock bumped into the Nasties a few years later and they weren't so tough then! Knobbs was warning Ken that if he touched him , that was a CRIME!
Do NOT do BuckZumhoff! No one needs to hear that!
True crime is my SHIZ! I KNOW Adam is a fan too so I'm glad he is the one doing this series. I love it!
Amazing video style and topic. Please do more.
Really enjoyed this, very interesting. Would like this as a series for sure.
The kind of person who if I saw trapped in a burning building screaming for help I would say "sucks to be you" before continuing on my way
Dick Slater was a bad ass in and out of the ring!
I am so in for this series!
A series of true crime in wrestling would be awesome!
Cultaholic doing something true crimey? I'm in !
More of this please!
I love these serious type of videos, especially the war stories.
I hope this series of wrestling true crime continues. Please keep it up.
Continue this series.
Amazing episode, hope we can see more of it
Love this, hope to see more videos like this. True Crime Tales From The Turnbuckle.
This is like dark side of the ring. Amazing video
I'd love to see more of this kind of thing. I'll enjoy how you'll cover stuff I'm most likely familiar with and learn about things I never knew before.
This is such a unique wrestling series idea. Definitely would enjoy more wrestling true crime!
This type of series would be perfect for a piece on Eddie graham.
You should definitely do one of these for Jimmy Snuka. I would say Chris Benoit, but that Dark Side of the Ring thing was perfect.
I may be in the minority here but I do not believe the Benoit case is over. I can not say why, but something about it just doesn't add up. It was solved too quickly, and then even more quickly forgotten about. (When I say forgotten about - I mean forgotten about by law enforcement, not by wrestling fans or the public.)
Superb video lads. Thanks.
I am intrigued by this carry on.
Been so excited for this since you announced it
Loving these new series. Hopefully the views translate and we get more!
Yes yes and more yes... Love this series already.... More please!!!!
Love this video. I would love to see more like this.
Great video. Crazy stuff. And as a native Floridian (and considering how many insane things happen with wrestlers in Florida), I'd be happy to serve as a Florida translator and pronunciation guide for Cultaholic if you'd like. ;)
More please. I know there could be a series here....and it could be entertaining
Deffo looking forward to more of these 👌👌👌
Great video!
Great video keep,em coming 👍👍
I’m very much looking forward to this new series
Cultaholic does Dark Side of the Ring... I'm all for it!
More of these type of videos please!!
This was a really interesting video and I learned a lot from this you guys did a great job. I had heard the name Dick Slater before but I knew nothing about him though I had heard the story about Sting. Can you guys please make more videos like this one?
Awesome video buddy 💯 would love to see you do more in this series and I never knew about all these incidents with Dick Slater 😲
Would love to see more of this.
Loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Slater is a true legend and legitimately was tough! But he was also very nice to fans in the many times I met him!
This is great id love to see more episodes
Ooh, neat series! If only I could remember the amount of random wrestlers I've stumbled onto in true crime fandom. One I can remember-- Juana Barraza, who wrestled in Mexico as La Dama del Silencio and was also a serial murderer with 16 victims.
As a fan of both true crime, and wrestling, I'm really enkoying this video. I hope to check out more, on the intersection of these two worlds.
More of these please!!
Keep these videos up
Best wrestling channel🔥
Cultaholic is on par and at times better then Dark side of the ring, keep up the great content
Can we please have more videos like these. They are interesting and entertaining.
I love These many documentaries that you guys do I would love to see this dark side of the Ring but thank you for me about this story
I'd love more content like this!
im gonna need more content like this pls
Good stuff Pacitti 👍
Complicated? He was a goddamn maniac.
Please more of this series. Reminds me of dark side of the ring
If that series gets renewed, this should be one of the stories.
Giving Sting a swirly is really funny.
Just thing about the Stinger being stuffed head first in to a toilet.
Great idea for a new series like darkside of the ring but short story style instead love it
Hope to see a lot more of this series with Pacitti
Keep up the good work
First pro wrestling match I remember? Dick Slater/Dusty Rhodes tag team.
Tampa Florida at the armory on Howard Avenue
Wrestling and True Crime??? NOW THAT IS SOMETHING I CAN GET BEHIND WITH
"This generation and their video games!"
Do more videos like this!
My 2 favorite pastimes. Wrestling and true crime. Keep it up boys. The content you provide is unchallenged. Also hire a on screen female personality.
Wow, the Stinger getting an actual swirly. Now there's a surreal image.
I LOVE this channel!; Quick question, when you said that guy hit Slater with a blackjack, it wasn't Blackjack Lanza was it?
He was a real man's man and you did not want to cross this man it was one of my favorite wrestlers when I was a kid
I hope this is a new series!
