Was at this game. Was so bummed when we lost. Kills me to wonder what would have happened if Bosh didn't have the recurring blood clots. Wade was unbelievable during the 2016 post-season run. The South Beach Goat. Go Heat!!
We would have been in the Finals and we would have beaten GSW. Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, Whiteside. Easy to forget Bosh was Miami best player in 2016 before bloodclots and Wade got back to his prime self.

@@yupadej4361 Wade and Bosh are better in clutch moments than both of those guys. Plus we had Joe Johnson who is clutch as well. Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, Whiteside vs Kyrie, JR, Bron, Love, Thompson. It would go 7 games for sure and the way Wade was playing those playoffs he would have found a way to close it out. Deng, Richardson, Winslow to guard LeBron is more than enough.

The Heat actually had 3 players from the '06 championship team on the '16 team. Of course Dwyane Wade, and Udonis Haslem, but Dorell Wright was on the '06 team and Miami brought him back for the '16 playoff run. Pretty cool in my opinion.

@@JAM_2024 not at all lol, nobody wanted Cavs out of the Finals. You know thats the year the league decided to gift LeBron a title against GSW? They knew Toronto cant really beat Cavs but Miami could. But in the end of course in game 7 Raptors were clearly a better team. The one problem is Chris Bosh would have destroyed Toronto that year. I remember in 2016 Bosh was unstoppable from the elbow and stretching the floor. Bosh and Whiteside was the perfect combo for the frontcourt with Dragic and Wade in the backourt oh boy. Joe Johnson was poor this series though, if he showed up like he did for Utah 2 years later Miami would still beat the Raptors.

Wasn’t really a choke against Lebron. The raps won 2 games against the the dominant duo of Lebron and Kyrie who went on to beat the 73-9 warriors. The raptors put up a decent fight
Wade is the best player in Heat history and it's sad that new school generation of bandwagon Heat fans didn't show up to the games consistently until Lebron came to town SMH. Most of them forgot that Wade carried this franchise on his back and to their first championship.
tbh I can't blame them because the only player that they want to watch is absent for most of the time. Wade has been injury-prone for most of his prime before Bron went to Miami.

I won't forget the face that LeBron had when he knew the Raptors eliminated the Heat and his lover Wade in the interview that year.

And then we start a line up of Dragic (who I never liked) D wade. Loul Deng Bosh and Whiteside the way he was playing we woulda beat the cavs I really think we had the depth to match their kyrie bron star power. And push come to shove in the clutch to bring the game home I’m still d wade over bron. And head to head he for sure always was beating Bron. Bron only got his lick back and got his one game lead on d wade after the man left Chicago!

But yeah I agree that we really underperformed in the playoffs before Kawhi came. In 2014 we played well but lost to the Nets who were a worse team yet outplayed us. Then we got embarassed in 2015, 2016 was a great year, 2017 was embarrassing and 2018 was the most embarrassing.

Lebronto was established? Lebron had prime Irving and Love on his team and the Raptors were missing Valanciunas. The series still went 6 games. The Lebronto thing was more in 2018.
