for me at 3:51 (Unparking processors i think) it says, "bitlocker drive encription is enabled on your os drive. Because these changes are going to change your machine's boot settings. The machine will go into recovery mode at next boot and you will need to provide a bitlock product key or recovery password" i dont think thats ok?
dont do it means that if you dont have a bitlocker key your system is bricked forerver with NO chance of recovery

No, it should not , go back to a restore point and reset pc
DON'T do the boot option "number of processors". All cores are active by default, changing this setting doesn't improve performance at all, and even decrease it.

OK - total NOOB question here... but.. If I'm asking it - others are thinking it..... I have a very nice 32" Samsung 4k monitor, running on a DP1.4 to a 1050Ti. The monitor is LOCKED at 69Hz. Fine for TV / Film, crap for gaming. The card can go way above that. Is there any real advantage pumping more Hz in that the screen can take or will that just actually slow it down? And yes, next time - faster, smaller monitor for less money.... I did learn my lesson... Ever try to read text on a 4k monitor at full settings?!?!? Anyway... does over-upping the hz on the gfx help the crap monitor show better results, or hinder it by over-supplying and needing more processing?
It's a hard question, still as per my understanding, increasing hrz to max can hurt display , the display can over heat, also not good for eyes

you can increase more Hz if monitor supports it if not then that its limit BUT your using 4k w/ a very very very very very very very very very very very weak GPU that even struggle with 1080p.
Monitor is locked at 69Hz. Annoying - its a Samsung.... you'd think they's well... not do that?!?!?! 1050Ti can cope with 1080 games just fine - I've played in 4k with little lag (ok yes, on iso rpgs)... I do want a better card, but for now, the 1050Ti is working.... And even at FPS - 1080 isnt a problem. 30-80 FPS? Acceptable for someone that grew up on a fixed 24fps console....

To check what a specific regedit file does, just right-click the file, go to more options, click on "Edit"
i followed most steps but didn't edit the registry and you shouldn't too. if you don't know what it does or if you don't trust it, don't apply those changes it'll fuck up your system. trust me, i learnt the hard way
@@cpxcth lmao, i broke my pc 2 times due to registry changes, even if you make a backup of registry some changes can´t really be reversed and a factory reset it needed.
So yeah, if they are telling ya to change something in regedit I´d search that up on google what it does :). But always, create a restore point before modifying anything on your pc :)).

@@RealSymplixity This is just for debugging. theoretically it can increase FPS because it will always use all CPU cores even if the game doesn't need it, but it's maybe only 4/5 FPS at the cost of overheating your PC/laptop
If you have a well cooled PC and a well set bios, theoretically nothing should happen as it can't adjust the voltage or overclock the CPU. On a laptop it can be bad.
For example, I used it and then in NFS i got 90 degrees because it used all 16 cores in the CPU and normally it only uses maybe 8 and you only have 8 as auxiliaries when you're doing something demanding in the game
If you have like 4 or 6 the game should use it all by itself

Please reply how to reset all the settings which I have done and hot to delete those installed files. Please help
Watch the video again and reverse the process, delete the high performance power plan you created, also reverse the changes you made in control panel and in other settings, also to delete the files goto the registered using regedit , and find those files and delete it( watch the same video to location of the files) be careful while edit6 or working with regedit,, and finally delete the application and restart. ( before deleting application ,just reverse the changes made through application)

i do not reccomend changing any settings in the system configuartion/msconfig because it is dangerous and you might end up with an unbootable computer.
It's not like that. If you are familiar with msconfig you can do it easily. Also you can reverse it. But of you are a fresher then recommend to get familiar with msconfig
i did it a few months ago and my laptop was not booting up and was going in a automatic repair loop and i had to factory reset everything

I'll try this tmr but I have an i5 8400 and I cannot play Fallout 76 without freezing at least once every minute but that cpu only has 6 cores and 6 threads so I just don't think its able to do higher utilization gaming or something idk
This worked amazingly. The only change I made was creating the power plan because everything else was the same but it made a ginormous difference. I am still freezing but its only for about 5 seconds at most and its only really about once per 30 minutes. My CPU is obviously slow but this video unlocked potential that I didn't know my CPU had, thanks.

Reverse the regedit process, but that shouldn't do the damage, you can change the processor back to low speed . You can change it after going to system bios
The regedit is just a optimization settings and it won't do any damage, may be the issue is with setting you have done. , do on thing login using safe mode and go to trouble shoot and select previous restore point and restore to old lap settings

Please install RAR application. Just google and you will get download link, the you open the file in that application , and extract the RAR file to a folder
