- The third iteration of the Osee Gostream Deck has just been announced. It's called the Osee Gostream Duet and it now includes SDI inputs, a cooling fan and the NDI HX licence. In this video I briefly describe these improvements.

Thanks for the review! As I understand it, this is just a multiplexer without the possibility of color correction for each channel?
There is no colour correction on the channels, you are correct. It "just" switches the inputs and offers an encoding & streaming facility. See my prior video for the full functionality.
And next they are coming out with the case version of this and we get the 4th review! LOL David never use logic to explain what a tech company does! I got one for a friend but thanks for the point out the Macro switch workaround. The Companion software is a big deal.
Yes, the Companion software will be very useful to many (and as of today I see the latest firmware - which activates Companion - is now out of Beta and fully released!)

Can you select which source you want for HDMI output #2 or is it always Multi-view?
As of the latest firmware revision, I believe you can now change HDMI2

What type of SDI uses GoStream Duet? This is 3g-SDI Level A or Level B? SMPTE 424M, 372M or 392M?
That's annoying, I literally just imported the HDMI version from the US into the UK. The fanned SDI option would have been very useful, but I'm not going to buy another. Either way it's a fantastic piece of kit for the money.
I'm curious, why did you import it? You can get it in the UK from my link and it's not even from Amazon...

Not sure about the EU, sorry. It links to a UK dealer for UK clicks and local Amazon stores for anywhere else.
Update the firmware. Today 2.1.0 finally came out with all bugs fixed. 20240430 variant.

need a case for it
The unit needs to be operated in spec without the fan on. What happens when the fan invariably fails? E-waste, or will it work OK like the original version? Considering the original must/should have passed QC without active cooling, I can't imagine the SDI addition has pushed the heat past something acceptable?
Not e-waste as you can just add a cooling mat or fan underneath as people had been doing with the original unit.
A bog-standard cooler, easily replaceable.
Can be mix sdi and hdmi inputs silultaneosly so 3 sdi + 1 hdmi or 2sdi 2 hdmi ect ?
Yes, you can select which combination you want
