Stumbled on this video while attending MI back in the 90's. Watched it at least twice a week for the rest of my time at MI. I'm amazed that it has been posted on youtube, didn't think I would ever see the video again after graduating from MI. Thank you for posting!

Ahhh.
ВЫСШИЙ ПИЛОТАЖ.......................................................РОССИЯ !
You posted that before, but with fewer dots.
ВЫСШИЙ ПИЛОТАЖ .......................РОССИЯ !
What means that?
Kick ass . Funk it!
Fera..
I ask to myself what is the year of this clinic, the drums is the Recording Custom or the Tour Custom?
He used to play Remo drums also in the past.
year ?
What year was this??
Effortless...and Sonny seems to do it with less effort. Even when bruh accidentally dropped the stick, if it wasn't video, I may have never known that he had dropped the stick, because his recovery was so smooth and, again, effortless. Love to listen to Purdy, Roach, Haynes, Jones, Rich, Gadd, Vinnie C. (Didn't wanna butcher'em), Chambers, Hakim, Katche, Royster, Beaufort, Erskine, Weckl, Peart, Bonham; but I see and hear stylistic and/or musical elements of them when I listen to Sonny Emory. Not just a great drummer, a phenomenal musician.
Comentem.alguma.pra.mim..
Where is the foot cam at 4:50 ? Triplets on 1 foot
Ur right! Amazing!! Not an easy thing to do - but he made it look easy.
Year?
not 4 sure of the EXACT year but most definitely late 80s or early 90s
thinking Mike Mangini must've studied a lot of Sonny... M
Great playing as always from a guy I had the privilege of seeing live at Ronnie Scott’s in London. But those drums sound terrible.
You was good until you said that dumb s*** at the end the only thing sounds horrible is your mouth right now shut it
