Good overview of the process. Fuel pump was recently replaced on my 98 Z71. Your truck is sharp and clean. Tell me about the exhaust, converters, and mufflers. It sounds good. Thanks

I appreciate it! Here's the link to the video of the exhaust czcams.com/video/0Zy_sEMKLhs/video.html! What I did was install a 2 in, 2 out Flowmaster 40 series on the truck and got the shop to put me over the axle turndowns. This gives it that old school muscle car sound I was wanting.

What wheels are those I’m looking for some winter wheels and those look pretty nice

So these are some steels from a 2018 work truck. I actually went up to my local Chevy dealer and they had a set sitting in the corner. You could always call up to your local GMC or Chevy dealer and ask if they have any steel work truck wheels laying around. They gave me these for $400 with pretty much brand new tires because no one wanted them.

If you had to do it again, drop the tank or pull the bed for the fuel pump? Thanks for the videos!

Well that's actually a tough question because it really depends on the tools you have available. So dropping the tank is fairly easy, except you want that thing to be almost empty if not empty. The other option is of course just unbolting the bed and lifting it on one side with a jack. That option is tricky and could really hurt someone that doesn't know what they're doing. The bed removal, however, would probably be the best way to go about changing the fuel pump. If you got a lift or a few friends to help you lift it off, it's really nice keeping everything all together and only having to worry about 8 bolts and some taillight plugs.

Do you know if the bed bolts have a washer between the frame and the bed?

Mine did not. But I am not sure if the bed had been off before I removed it.
