Everyone likes a drive around town, how about a drive to the Post office video. So we can see how you get your post sorted at the post office. Maybe you can drive to different ones in different towns and cities. (Drive to London with me to the post office to drop my parcels) just saying nice views and nice weather for it. 😊
@@UKCurlyGirl You know Shopify has Shipping carriers integrated so yu don't have to create an account with Royal Mail you can you Evri and DPD in built with Shopify.

@@UKCurlyGirl no problem at all. always happy to support my fellow content creators. I am looking forward to improving on my own current video format I have uploaded and, in the future, trying to create content as good as yours in the long term.
@@UKCurlyGirl I also have a question , u know when i filled out the form on royal mail and i want to drop it off at royal mail what do i tell the reception to drop it off like what info
so to the click and drop the prices are different because I saw on the video for collection is 60p extra charge ? because on my regular account I don't pay anything extra for collection
Does the post man make you stick the label on yourself I saw a video and the person had to stick it on herself. That would stress me out trying to put sellotape on 10+ labels while the post mans stood at the door waiting 😂
😂 I’m actually not sure that’s a great example it would take forever if that was the case, if anyone has experienced please share! (I usually opt for printing my own labels)
Loved your video! I have a shop on eBay and trying to open my Shopfy store at the moment and your videos are super informative. May I kindly ask why didn't you integrate click&drop to your shopify? Is there any specific reason? Thank you
Hey! Thanks for watching ✨ In this demo I wanted to showcase for those who only get small amounts of orders, I do have the click & drop account which is super handy!
Hi Hoping you can help me out with this question - in shopify, do I pay for the shipping or does the customer? I’m under the impression that the shopify payout from our sales is made to us after a couple days from the purchase date, so would that mean the shipping cost is also paid out to us along with the product payout or is the shipping immediately paid for when a purchase is made and all I have to do is print the shipping label and send the parcel? Hope I’m making sense. Thanks
You pay for the shipping and then if you charge customers a shipping fee at checkout that will be included in your payout, payouts arrive days after your sale so you would need some money available to use for shipping as a back up before your get paid from Shopify (hope this helps!)
Hey, wait. @4:05 you said you were choosing the "Send an Item ", not "Arrange a Collection", but then the next screen @4:10 said they have booked a collection for you! What's going on? This happened to me. I wanted to print a label to use a post box, but it took my money, _didn't give me a label,_ and a guy came round to collect it a few days later (after I had posted it the old way).
Can you tell us what would be the reason not to have an account with royal mail and how do you set this up to handle multiple sales ready for shipping 🤔 I wouldn't like to sit there typing out 500 plus orders on a good day. You could answer this in your next video or short if you want. I'm sure others would like to know (Royal mail no sign up vs Royal mail account)
Oh Yes no way if you had that many you deffo wanna get the drop and go account, I just like to show the different options available but could be another video idea 💡
You know when we go on its to click complete order they ask for tracking ID. And what if we post normal order without tracking ID ? What we will type in that box then?
hey thanks for this. im just about to start my journey so this is helpful. i noticed your site is down. i hope u get back to selling again. Quick question. how do you deal with returns. i also have a registered business adress but i trade from home and you wont want to give your personal details out. so in the case where a cusotmer wants to return, what adress do you give them?
Maybe a silly to you lol but I’m mega confused!! I’m going to Shopify shipping and it only comes up with Evri and DPD when I really only use Royal Mail. How do I get the Royal Mail service? If you get what I mean. Like above when the person payed the postage would you then have to pay it yourself thru Royal Mail if that makes sense haha
Hi Curly 👋, Good vid ...& just to confirm ... I don't need to print out eBay shipping label ?...Perfectly ok to write the Address on the package and send to buyer ?
Sorry I’m a bit new to vinted and using Royal Mail 2nd class - after it generates the label and I enter my email, will it send me a QR code to scan at the post office? I don’t have a printer so extremely confused
if you choose evri, there are local evri parcel shops where you scan your QR code on a machine and it prints a label out for you! very helpful for those that don’t have printers
@@UKCurlyGirl the cover cost you had showed. You said your product was less than £20 so you choosed 20. But is the cost it took you to make the product or the sales price you charge 🤔
@@onlyagreeingsometimes oh I see! So I do it by the price it cost roughly, I go for the lowest as it’s very rare nowadays that anything happens to the packages (especially when they’re tracked)
@@UKCurlyGirl so just to make sure I've understood. You do it roughly to the price your customers are buying the product from you and not how much it costs you to make. And you do it lower due to the packaging rarely getting damaged, when adding tracking. So if the item was £20 plus £5 shipping.. you'll pick cover £20. 😎 Thank you
Ahhhh love your videos!!☺ Helped me so much throughout my journey to opening a business. You mentioned in the video you have a business address. If you don't mind me asking, is that a virtual office address that you pay for? I was thinking about paying for a virtual address but thought if someone returns an item, I don't want them to end up sending it to that address
Hey! Thank you so much 🙌🏽❤️ So yes if you check out my descriptions you’ll see UK Postbox that’s where I have a virtual address I use for my business address x
Update : Aug 2023 : You now don't get the choice of "Collect it from me" and "Drop it off" @6:05. Even if you chose no collection @4:05, it defaults to it anyway, crazy. They assume that their collecting it is a favour you won't refuse. You must remove home collection from you "basket" before payment later. Even then it's unclear which option you have - collection is shown with a green "+" when _deselected_ . It's crazy, who designs this BS anyway?

Hi Curly 👋, Good vid ...& just to confirm ... I don't need to print out eBay shipping label ?...Perfectly ok to write the Address on the package and send to buyer ?
Yep you can write out the address if you like totally up to you (just to confirm you’ll still need a stamp to actually send it)
When I add products to my shopify and add the weight, do i have to include the packaging in that weight as well or its just the product itself?
Typically the product weight (if the product has its own packaging then yes that is the B product weight) but not with your polybag or shipping box 😊
I’m looking for a label printer - compatible with shopify… would u recommend dymo printer?
Yes! But it’s not wireless I think they have better ones like the Munbyn check Amazon but I still love my Dymo and have had it for about 4 years now 💕
