Bon Scott was amazing, I was in 6th grade when he passed. Brian Johnson came in and kept the band going. I am a fan of both singers. Johnson came in and had to deliver, the pressure he must've been under to keep AC/DC going ,after they lost Bon, had to be immense. They are still rocking 40 years later. I thank Brian Johnson for the courage to take the position as the lead singer after Bon passed. I thank AC/DC for the decades of enjoyable music that makes my days better . Great reaction! Spooky story to the two singers Bon and Brian. Bon saw Brian in the mid/late 70’s and was impressed by his screaming vocals. It would turn out that Brian was suffering from appendicitis. Bon didn’t know that and told the other members of AC/DC what an awesome singer he was. Brian would end up replacing Bon and adopted the screaming style because of Bon. So, he literally picked his own replacement. Brian Johnson is the voice of classics like "Hells Bells", "Back in Black", "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Thunderstruck", "Stiff Upper Lip", "Shoot to Thrill", "For Those About to Rock", "Who Made Who"...and many more. Most AC/DC success has happened with Brian as the bsnd's singer.

Just an interesting historical sidenote - this is the first rock song ever to feature Scottish Bagpipes, no surprise really when you consider that Bon, Angus and Malcolm were all born in Scotland.

Both bringing their own character and voice to the songs, but there's no denying that Bon Scott AC/DC songs had more "bite" and there was more "versatility" to their music compared to the Johnson era. It's been pretty much a "paint by numbers" ÂŽgig ever after Back in Black.
