Question: Which technique is easier for you, sweep picking or tremolo picking?

Another great video! Your videos always inspire me to pick up my guitar and push myself further. So I extend a very sincere thank you good sir. I have an easier time with tremolo picking because I’ve been playing knuckle dragging death and black metal for many years. Much of my music doesn’t have solos, but I still practice lead guitar. I’ve been trying to get better at sweeping and you’ve been a great help. Cheers!

    Hi Tom Hess
These picking exercise's are great, I look forward to more videos like this.
On the 14 frets, Hitting the E note then the A note being on top of each other seems to be the hardest part with me then on the way back the same hitting the A note then the E note, at the high speed anyway.
    Thank you

great video..as always. my biggest problem (as a lefty) is getting the hands in sync and how to keep them in sync, especially at slower speeds.

So.. Is tremolo picking the name of it when you play, 2,3,4 notes or so, when you pick each note several times, before you go to the next note? A lot of guys pick each note several times before they move to a new note, not just in sweeps. The do it in all different types of solos right? I mean, some solos are super fast, and I can tell there is no way, no way at all, the left hand could move that fast, and only pick one note every time before they move to a new note.. So I can tell many of the greats are picking at least 2 or 3 times before they move.. I need to know how to do that smoothly.. Can you show us how to do that, not just on sweeping but on regular general guitar solos? I will pay for a couple lessons, if you can help me finally learn how to play fast lead guitar.
