Yep, I have 2 curved MBT 2S. The only reason I put the Geisselle G2S in my latest build is because it was on sale for $120. But for $100 to $120 to your mailbox, the MBT 2S cannot be beat!
Any issues with light primer strikes? I just recently installed the flat shoe MBT and haven’t gotten a chance to take it to the range yet that particular rifle will probably be shooting surplus ball, steel cased Tula, Dan anything I can find rolling around underneath my driver seat, or in my couch. 😉
Ordered one last Wed (5/17/23) and was waiting for the shipping email so i contacted LaRue. Currently the shipping time is 2-4wks as both the curved and flat triggers are on backorder
I had to wait 3 or 4 weeks for one of mine a few years back. The other shipped in a couple of days. I reckon they make them batches, and it's just a matter of dumb-luck timing.
@@SapperGentleman not complaining. There was a guy at the table next to me a couple of weeks ago that had one and let me try it out. Aside from the first shot I didn't even notice the first stage and just stayed on the wall after reset. Definitely worth the wait.
I've got one of the flat MBTs in my 14.5" too - far superior to the ALG ACT I've got in my 18", and not all that much more expensive either. I probably should break down and replace it, and I probably will at some point.
@@parsecboy4954 I was just curious about the difference in the pull weight between my curved and flat. Their website lists them at 4.5 (light spring) and 6 (heavy). Obviously this pull-gauge isn't super scientific, but my curved seems extra light. 🤷♂️
When they were $79.99 last year I got a curved trigger. I love it. Doing another build and wanting their flat face, their prices went up $115 Would you say at this price point theyre still worth it, or other brands at this price point would be a better buy?
They’re hardly ever talked about because everyone knows who makes the objectively best triggers when price is also included. Or you can spend x3 the amount if you want slightly better take up. Just facts.
Not even better take up Tbh. Larue has less travel, is crisper, and has a more positive reset with heavy spring. The ONLY thing the SSA-E has going for it, imo, is that its second stage is way lighter than the Larue's. That's a big deal, but not enough to outweigh the other benefits IMO.
Both curved and flat are superior!!! Larue is top notch on everything they produce. The other higher priced triggers are overrated. I have a timney and it's ok compared to Larue
Thank you so much for the video
Thanks for your honest review! I found it helpful in making my decision
Thank you bro!
Another successful flex by closing the ejection port cover.
Nice rigs!
Greeeeatly prefer the bow to the flat. And the heavy spring just made it perfect.
I got the MBT2S straight bow. LaRue has the best triggers!
That title actually belongs to Geissele
I have four of them, IMO... I haven't felt better triggers. When factoring in cost, it's an easy win and no brainer to choose LaRue MBT.
Thanks for this vid,I just bought a MBT straight bow for $94 with shipping is $101.I’m excited!
You're gonna like it 🤙🏼

Nope. Both triggers (with either spring) have been 100%

Just an update, received the trigger this past Thursday (6/8/23) so roughly a 3wk lead time.
That’s crazy, I placed my order last November, and I got my order 2 days later.

Do you have a curved MBT?
Nope, just the flat bow - I’m a flatty guy as well

@Sapper Gentleman did you swap the curved light spring over the the flats and see if it measures similar back and forth

Absolutely worth it at that price.
