- Cruising on a World Cat 280DC-X around Venice, FL on the Gulf of Mexico. We headed south on the Gulf to Gasparilla Pass and then took the ICW north. Also cruised around Stump Pass.

Thanks. Actually you are not supposed to run with the forward shade up. Found that out after this trip. Anchor, drift or minimal wake ICW.
I'm looking at the 255 world cat. I just don't see to many reviews on newer ones. Your boat is bigger but I subscribed anyway! Glad moms was able to make the trip, sure she loved it! 🐟
I also like the new 260cc. I just think the dual console will be better with more seating. I'll check them out next time we go to Sarasota. I was there this past march looking at homes.
@@BlackBirdieGolf We pleasure boat 80 percent and fish 20 percent. The dual console really offers comfortable seating for everyone. Great thing about the cats is the wide bow. great storage too. Nice sized head for the women. I've driven quite a few mono CC's and none have ever been real comfortable.
Where can I get a canopy like that for the front of the boat?
Where did you get that shade cover. I want one!
