The error message at 0:29 says something along the lines of "dks0d1s0: Media error: No addr mark found in ID field, (data byte 32, block #0)"
Yeah, the drive is bad. I replaced with another one I found lying around and eventually a SCSI2SD.It lives a lot more now.
