I’m a little sad to hear her say “perhaps my backhand didn’t turn out too well” because in my humble opinion her backhand was the best shot in all of tennis. She hit it deep, aggressive, kept it low with slice, and used it to draw a week reply that she would then crush with her forehand. As needed (to keep her opponents honest) she could alter the stroke slightly and hit amazing dropshots or hit a topspin drive down the line. Her powerful forehand was so effective BECAUSE of her beautiful, dynamic backhand.
She is beautiful inside and out! Just like Andre , her husband said she is a lady of action not words ! I love per quiet personality! When she is in the court , she plays with class and grace!❤❤❤❤
naja, in den ersten 5 Minuten bereits zwei Fehler. Martina hatte damals geweint, weil sie mit Berlin zwar nahe ihrer tschechoslovakischen Heimat gespielt hatte und nicht hinkonnte. Und in Paris 1988 hat sie gegen Zvereva gewonnen und nicht Sabatini.

Her topspin backhand was absolute garbage, thankfully her slice was good enough to compensate.
