Great drill/idea. Allows you to practice each shot until perfect and also where the mulligans are taken, highlights which part of the game you need to work on. Great video!
Great video Seb! I’d hit the putting green to work on that stroke. You’re slicing it which isn’t helping consistency. Get a Visio start line trainer 👍🏻
There was an easy golf video game in 1991 or so, where on nine holes of the Buick invitational, I aced both par threes, eagled both par fives and birdied the five par fours for a -13 (23) on nine holes. Take that Tiger!
You're welcome I'd like to see the one's criticizing go out with video and do it birdies are not easy to come by in regular round and definitely not tournament play some pros make them but they become obsolete because they have bad round but just for a challenge it's something you made fun and big ups bro
I had a similar idea as well I have never done it tho, my most birdies in a row in tournament play were 5 on a course with a quite easy 5 holes in a row on which are 3 short Par 4s which I can reach with my drive longest one being 320 to the middle of the green and the shortest one just 240 yards which is a soft 5 wood for me. 1 Par 4 of 370ish yards but an easy green and a 130 yard Par 3.
Apart from the obvious chances of holding up play, this a great format to play with mates! (When the course is a bit quieter, haha) Probably worth picking pars and bogeys as the target for higher handicappers but probably much more valuable to hone your game. Great vids Seb! :)
Tbf putting is the strongest part of his game, why he kept backing himself on the greens, I agree though he does seem to almost cut across the ball when he strikes it, a couple times in the vid you can see a few pushed putts as a result, my brother is similar but is a good putter like Seb, I suppose putting is very mental, cause Seb is a good putter and holes out well, why change? I would only consider messing about if in comps and under pressure your putting is rubbish then you might wanna have a look at changing your technique.
Agreed. Need to feel like the putter comes inside and a little more closed on the way back and then feel like the putter is released more down the line - feel like the left shoulder stays more closed through impact
That putter was chopping across the ball on the 9th. Tbf though, he's a fairly decent player, not amazing at any one part but also not bad at any one part either so there will be bits in his entire game you can probably critique.
I played this summer around of 11 under par (12 birdies 1 bogey and 5 pars) in competion. The catch was that we played in teams of 4 players and the formula was Texas scramble. Nevertheless, it felt awesome 😉
Came here from the F2 Wembley video from 2020. Shout out to you Seb. I have always loved the Hashtag united Content and Spencer's stuff. I just wanted to be supportive and say, "what's up?"
I have always wanted to create content myself and know how hard the work is to produce, write, film and create. So I am super impressed by you all and use your consistency as a benchmark to look forward to achieving one day
Hi, new subscriber here. I've watched a few of your videos and I noticed you open the face on the downswing of alot of your putts and miss right a lot of the time because of this.
Welcome Dillon. I know right, I am very out to in with my stroke. Seems to work though so don’t want to mess with it. Although it wasn’t great on this particular video! 😂
@@SebOnGolf not trying to offend or anything you have a great game, just something I noticed. I think the open face is happening because your hands are ever so slightly forward on impact. Also, I really like your videos where you try to birdie every hole. Seems very challenging and fun.
9:04 486y is pretty short for a par 5, surely? One of the courses I play on has a 610y par 5, as well as a 475y par 4, along with a fair few other 440y+ par 4s
Seb this is advice not criticism but the putting I would suggest lining the putt up not just hitting even if it’s a mulligan but also you are coming across the face with putter face and not stroking through the ball. Just work on that and you could have made 10 birdies in a row without mulligans
I also noticed that some if almost most of your putts jumped because the ball position is very back which hits over the top.Try putting the putter in the middle of your stance not the ball
It's actually pretty impressive how you get back into a relatively decent impact position and follow through considering the poor quality of your backswing / body movement on the way back. .. I guess that's what they call a back handed compliment, but..
Na my mate played a perfect round when he went out by himself
🤣🤣
I got a mate who swears he gets a hole in one all the time when he goes out buy himself 😂
U
And plays with unlimited mulligans
5:42 never knew you can shank a putt
I've never played a full round of golf but still watched this entire video. Fair play!
Love this one Seb! Awesome idea and all the graphics are 💰💰
Thanks my man!
Video idea for you, Mr. Jensen?🤔
Great video Seb. You stepped it up a level in this one. Keep it up mate, you're a top man. Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks David, means a lot
There is no mulligan option on Wii Golf, so sadly i can not try this challenge
Haha get yourself out there!
Jim Furyk made 10 birdies and an eagle... 😏
Gentleman Jim is an enigma in his own right
and he was really nice when I met him at the grocery store
@@ryanmc58 Dont believe you. Anyone who knows him has to beg just for a hand job.
Nice vid. Great played!
Great video, enjoyed that one. I’ve just got into golf and I can say it would take me a LOT of mulligans to complete that 😂😂
I LOVED THIS! Made me want to get on the course and try it myself. Wonder if I could beat 39.
Only one way to find out Rach!
This video is perfect!
Love the content mate! Keep it up
This is proper golf goals!!! Nice video, Seb
Thanks so much mate!
I once playd 30 under on tiger woods pga tour 14 but in real life most was 4 birdies
Great drill/idea. Allows you to practice each shot until perfect and also where the mulligans are taken, highlights which part of the game you need to work on. Great video!
Thanks Nick, much appreciated
Outfit looking clean seb 😎 just like the golfing
Thanks mate, adidas golf always producing the 🔥
What a great idea for a practice round! 👏👌
Glad you liked it my friend
Great vid, tried it this morning and only needed 4 Mulligan's, keep on the good work
Very impressive. You should have filmed it also!
4 par 5's in 9 holes ?!
I thought that!
Not from tips
GM Golf sent me here! Great video.
I really like the graphics and filming! A huge step up or should I call it a hole in one! Keep up the good work! Love from Finland
Thank you Tommi!
Great video Seb! I’d hit the putting green to work on that stroke. You’re slicing it which isn’t helping consistency. Get a Visio start line trainer 👍🏻
Thanks mate: have considered changing my stroke, but despite what you see in this video it’s normally a strength of mine

This was surprisingly entertaining! Abuse of Mulligans, but yet, entertaining.

Seb I reckon proximity to the hole is key for birdies. I'd be using loads of them on the approaches, what do you reckon?
Seb are you comming to the open in nr Ireland and on the Thursday???
Will be there Friday only I am afraid
@@SebOnGolf its g enjoy!!
Serious golf, looking good
Thanks Eoin
Course looks unreal 😍
In good condition right now for sure
Great vid seb 👌👌
Cheers Sam
i would need ab 52 mulligans!!😂
#mulligan⛳️🏌🏼♂️
If golf was just putting Seb on Golf would not be a thing
Haha it’s the best part of my game normally!
Observation and not criticism...the ball jumps up each putt you hit. Do you have a lot of loft on your putter?
I birdied the first 5 holes at my home course last year and still managed to shoot 4 over ! Ahhhhhh ..(off 5 handicap) , it still annoys me !!!
How do you slice your putter
🤷🏼♂️
Exactly what I was thinking haha
What’s the song ?
Class video!
Thanks Paul
I'm thinking of trying this one out then, looks like I'll be needing some deep pockets... 🙃
Good Video idea, just need to fix that putting stroke. Coming way too far across which caused the inconsistencies

What did you think guys? Could you beat my score?
Ended up with 14 😂
I would never get off the 3rd. Hahaha
Just went out to play this format, only had 14 mulligans 😂
Very impressive
Anyone know the soundtrack?
What about if you have an eagle seb? Are you then allowed to have a par?
Jak Lee Golf no! But could go -11 instead!
Sick! Game on! I’ll be uploading in the next few days 😂💪🏼
Everyone know that an arc swing putt is a completely valid tactic? Tons of popular putter designs were made for that swing in mind.
I played this summer around of 11 under par (12 birdies 1 bogey and 5 pars) in competion. The catch was that we played in teams of 4 players and the formula was Texas scramble. Nevertheless, it felt awesome 😉
I did this and used 11 mulligans and I play off 3 and I'm 15 years old , I used 1 put on each green and 1 drive and 1 bunker shot
Line up longer to find the holes break and also rushing can affect a round
Totally agree
Brilliant idea, this, but I think I'd need about six months!
Speak to you in January then 🤣👌🏻
Knowing you're a handicap 3 nowadays, not sure what you were back here, but I'm going to say 17 mulligans. Really fun challenge though Seb!
For sure slicing across it and missing it on the heel of the putter..good stuff though, seb
Guys let's just enjoy the video. Dont get serious too much haha.
Going for a session at my local simulator and going to give it a go.
Let me know how it goes Graeme

12. Then I watched 2 holes. Changing to 37! It's tough
Not a bad guess
Why are there 4 par 5s on 9 holes
Par 74
Playing like this I am now a +19 handicapper!...well I did make one eagle.
humdrummer No way your +19 handicap💀
@@beauv8206 Sure I am, got to remember I took 27 mullies to shoot 19 under....
Funny, speaking of Mark calcavecchia, he is going to be appearing at my outing in Northern Ohio this August
Make sure you say hi to big M for me please
Never seen someone slice there putter as much haha and your pro tracer is broke 😂
I’d really like an 18 hole version
Try to break 100 would be the goal for sure!
How the hell does that golf course have 4 par 5’s on the front nine?
I would have gone for the chip on the 9th. We can see how much the ball jumps, and the line becomes fairly unpredictable.
Yeah that’s a good shout!
I made that challenge and i used 18 mulligans. So i had pretty easy course
Go for the 18🤪
12 and I would need like 80 😂
Definitely gonna need to try this one. Just gonna have to make sure I take 50 balls with me 😂😂😂
Ha also worth doing when the course is empty!
@@SebOnGolf yeah good luck with that around my area. Most of the courses are fairly busy every day 🙈
Hole 7 just battered you lol😂
you sound exactly like spencer on this vid
I know they were pures but none of his shots sounded like one😂
Story of my life
“Unlimited mulligans”
I shot 28 under on hot shots last week

Havent watched the video yet. 78 mulligans came to mind 😅
That is the shortest 32ft putt I have ever seen.
Which one are you referring to?
@@SebOnGolf The tenth hole where you mistakenly put up the graphic for the third hole for your putt.

Ya it’s right on the border of what a par 4/5 is.
Seb this is advice not criticism but the putting I would suggest lining the putt up not just hitting even if it’s a mulligan but also you are coming across the face with putter face and not stroking through the ball. Just work on that and you could have made 10 birdies in a row without mulligans
That putting stroke is the stuff of nightmares
Normally works, not as good today though.
@@SebOnGolf Think it was the 3rd green the ball seems to be coming off the face at a weird angle or was the slope that severe?
A perfect round? I'd say that's 18 shots. Good luck :)
Haha that might take a few tries!
Hell need 9 mulligans
28 mulligans is my guess..If I tried doing this at my home course the would throw my ass out after 8h!!😆
You should had finished each hole before starting the mulligan challenge to compare the final round score
I do that every week, my lowest score on that course is a -5 (69)
I also noticed that some if almost most of your putts jumped because the ball position is very back which hits over the top.Try putting the putter in the middle of your stance not the ball
Might give this a go!
You get the idea from El Pres at Barstool winning the US Open? You should try the same if you can get permission for the course for the Open
Would love to do this over 18 holes one day!
Bruh how many golf balls can you fit in your pocket lol
Haha about 9!
Nixe
Nick Faldo technically shot the perfect round when he had 18 pars in a row at the Open🤷♀️
I would say that is perfectly acceptable golf
Pah!, I sunk eleven Putts in eleven holes!, not all for Birdies though......😎
What is considered a perfect round of golf then?
Birdie every hole
Rayan Thomas of India made 9 straight birdies as an amateur on MENA GOLF TOUR and won the event.
Wasn’t aware of that. Incredible golfing
15 and I’d need about same 👍
Very good that!
How about Annika's start in her 59 round?
How many birdies was that?
@@SebOnGolf , 8 straight and 12 out of the first 13.
It would take me 10
I think you'll need about 16
That music I just can’t do this
I quite liked it
10
I’m gonna say you need 23 mulligans, about 2 putts per hole
It's actually pretty impressive how you get back into a relatively decent impact position and follow through considering the poor quality of your backswing / body movement on the way back. .. I guess that's what they call a back handed compliment, but..
