Now we can build our own waifus, technology has truly advanced
We have peaked in loneliness
Indeed it is brother
Or.. or we can make something cursed 😈
Our degeneracy is strengthened.
Our incel is intensified.
What a time to be alive
I've never once in my life thought i would need my own custom waifu but yet here i am
same
I need a husbando version T^T
After all these years, Bandai finally realized that the anime-faces of these girl-kits need to be pre-built to look perfect out of box.
Even the fumina kits would’ve been that much better with just that one change. Still would’ve been crap but tolerable crap at least,
Honestly? Yeah I agree that thoses faces didn't look that good without some efforts, but that idea to have the eyes stickers put behind a clear plastic lense was quite interesting. It would give the illusion that the figure was slightly folowing you with is gaze.
A nice try at least. . . that some (including Mecha Gaikotsu here) would find quite creepy.
@@dadoulalien5514 I hated those clear lenses,it went flying as I cut from the runner and looking for a clear part thats the size of 2 millimeter was pure hell
my problem with those fumina kits are those duckface smile eugh
yeah, but it should come with decals too if you want to re paint it
Bandai has chosen the super customizability route, and it is glorious. Only thing I am disappointed you did not show was mixing the alternate hair pieces.
Never even thought of that.... THATS AN AWESOME IDEA!
Next time for sure!
Mix hair pieces, repaint, and you got unique custom hairstyles!
“There are pretty cheap.”
Upsellers: *laugh in upsell*
Bandai already announced they'd be reissuing the kits considering how well it sold. Don't bother with scalpers.
@@beardedbear9901 thanks for letting me know.
I know right? What the hell! I want another couple of bodies for the hair and Rishette is already 3X retail already. This is REALLY not OK.
@@beardedbear9901 That's great to hear. Reselling kits you don't want or need is one thing, but buying in bulk just to price gouge is outright assholery
@@MechaGaikotsu This should be illegal and toy/figure distributors and sellers should do something for it.
well people compare 30 Minutes Missions to Frame Arms so it is only a matter of time they got their own Mecha-musume spin-off, funny enough both Frame Arms Girls and 30 Minutes Sisters had the same character designer, Fumikane Shimada.
I did not know this! I thought the faces looked similar when I popped Gourai down beside her but didn't know they were designed by the same person!
Well, he's pretty much THE mecha-musume designer. Sky Girls, Strike Witches, Busou Shinki, Frame Arms Girl, Alice Gear Aegis, Megami Device, etc.
@@Haxteal Don't forget Kantai Collection
@@MechaGaikotsu Have you ever thought about 3d printing polycaps?
@@knuckles7790 I’ve always been surprised that there aren’t 3rd party plastic polycaps
holy crap bandai just hit the jackpot outta this hahahahah. looking forward to those talented builders making some custom craziness just like what happened with the og 30mm kits~
I've seen Bondage Porn of them already on Twitter, not surprised

Thank you so much for the review. Shocked that you got this kit early
I preordered all 4 types of the girls and all the option parts a few months ago while taking the risk that the kits could be crap. Still waiting for it to arrive.
Now I can have NO REGERTS.
The potential for body horror is limitless.
Power tools, explosives, oh my!
@@typehere6689
Nah, mannequin arms and legs are pretty unsettling when used right.
Now that's what I call marketing IQ. this will boost the sales of 30MM and I'm going to buy more starting today.
That's why I love Bandai
I can already feel all of the 30 Minutes Missions sets going out if stock by the end of the month now.
"This is basically mecha legos!"
Me who makes Mechas from Legos: "Hmm."
I have a few OC's that im gonna spend, SO MUCH money on these kits to make figures of them. im so excited, now if only HLJ could keep them in stock..
Yep. Same here.
Gundam Planet
I’m just happy that they finally started pre printing faces. Mecha are one thing but with anime girls it’s almost impossible to not screwup with those eye stickers.
I think the Dragon Ball figure rise kits do a good job with the faces, save for the mouth
Yeah their pretty good though dragon ball also has its own simplistic style that helps that. It’d be a little difficult to pull that off here.
The main weakness of the pre-printed faces is that they're not very customizable, and what custom painting I've seen people attempt on the eyes look bad at best. Still, they are coming out with more face option parts with different eyes, so hopefully they release enough of them to make customization with different eye colors a non-issue.
@@StrikeNoir105E
True it would’ve been nice if the kits would’ve come with some classic stickers and a few blank faces. Well I’m sure we’ll get more then one face option set hopefully with some odd eyes, maybe a eyepatch, other non normal anime faces, etc.
If saves a lot of time, but definitely makes it harder to paint the Face
Feder from the gunpla server is gonna have a field day with this
Which server?
Don't worry about it.
What server?
Customizing this feels like customizing a character in PSO XD
so wheres the kit that can give her *even bigger* bonkhonagahoogs?
@@fraser7211 give the 3d modelers some time
@@fraser7211 the chest part is detachable. You can either mold your own custom breast with resin, clay, etc on top of it; or wait for bandai or custom modellers to release theirs

@@spearsage I know all of this, I just couldn’t resist the opportunity to use the meme, and pso2 is known for a certain custom item
Bandai might as well make HGUC versions of the F90 Mission Packs so these Sisters can go full on Centurions which was animated by Sunrise.
Bandai Centurions..... SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
So basically, we have Infinite Stratos kits now
Another man of culture
Not a favorite of mine but not bad. The main guy is just annoying though with how dense he is.
@@rhaeasoul8531 yes, extremely dense
-It got some good doujin- Ahem. Yeah one of the earlier mecha musume series. Wish there was more of it figure
@@rhaeasoul8531 well, if ichika wasn't a dense as he is, he would've died
This is definitely one of those moments where I would feel utter shame in buying it, but also feel pride in building and fidgeting to make her look perfect...
Same especially when family will see it XD
Really? I'm already getting the glares for having Gunpla. This will kill them.
Forgot the articulation testing?
I've been waiting for this,I wanna build a bigger mecha musume collection but Kotobukiya's kits will cost so much now
Maybe he enjoyed it too much? Nothing wrong with that. Just, you may forget a thing or two
Yeah, was wondering about that too. He did show off some nice poses with it, including the all-important (imho) kneeling pose which was far better than how I thought it would be.
@fat guy Yeah I considered getting the Atk girl line but I wanted to get ones that are more ill equipped so i can make use of the spare weapons and armors i have lying around.
I was too excited to try the alternate parts I completely forgot.
I'll make sure to pop that into this month's review when Teiasha comes out
Amazing!!! The time for Bandai to give us "Amuro and Char" models should be coming in a few years :)
Anyone else still waiting for angelic layer to become an actual thing? No? Just me? * Sad villager noises *
been playing the anime opening everytime with my frame arms girls.
I wish they had 20 minutes missions back in the days when I was super into the hobby.
I really loved putting zaku heads into gundams and that was before I watched ZZ before I had known Zeta gundam with a zaku head appeared in the anime.
Welp, wasn't expecting to have mecha musume nightmares but, here I am.
My hope with this line is that they release more body types for the girls in the future. Basically similar to how the Spinatia is completely different body type from the Porta Nova, I'm hoping for something like say a long-legged "supermodel" style body. Also, more base suit types and more hairstyles please.
Edit: Seems like they did it earlier than expected - from reviews Tiasha is actually smaller than Rishetta. They're still compatible with each other, but I was not expecting a size difference at all, let alone a visible one.
Good news, they did it
Love hearing your reviews on newer and non exclusive kits!
These figures are awsome. Just saw one of these today at a convention, and was blown away. This might be the line to get me back into building model kits again. I love the modular design.
17:07 with that color scheme, it reminded me of the sneaking suit from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which in turn appeared in both MGSV: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain
I was already pretty stoked for these kits, but this has me even more hyped. Seeing this in-depth of a look at them really gave me some Bubblegum Crisis vibes with the designs, too. Might be a fun customization job to attempt!
aw hell i just went from not knowing things like this exist to *needing* to spend hundreds within the span of 90 seconds
Can't wait for you to review the rg hi nu gundam that thing is a 1/144 pg
I have so many customization ideas: Alita Battle Angle, DC’s Power Girl, Momo Yaoyorozu Stealth Variant, to name a couple.
I was already thinking of getting these but you've completey sold me on them! These girls are so cool and fun to mess with .
just started last month and I love every minutes with how customizable these are
There's also a Chinese female mecha line called ATK Girls
Is it bad that the concept of customizable waifu gals fighting sounds like it could be made into a semi interesting anime, thats also a product placement for these figures?
I mean if you think about it Zoids did that exact same concept and ran with it for a good number of series and seasons!
That was basically what frame arms girls was and I believe LBX also had an anime where the girls gained armor based on the mecha.
@@rhaeasoul8531 ty for the information, ill add those to the list of "anime i need to watch"
angelic layer
Not only does the 30 Minutes line have their own lore for both the 30MM and 30MS kits, e.g. the SISTERs, i.e. backronym for "Symbiosis Terminal", are digital beings, but Sunrise even has a prototype of the SISTERs concept shown off in Gundam Build Divers, i.e. the EL-Divers like Sara and May.
I can definitely see them making anime off the 30 Minutes line sometime, either for 30MM with the EXAMACs, or 30MS with the SISTERs.
This reminds me of Bionicles in a really great way because I used to build and play Bionicles & Hero Factory sets when I was a little kid. 30 Minute Missions/Girls emulates that buildable & swappable energy and it all looks like fun. I gotta try these!🤩
I would love to see some zoid like kits from the 30mm lines, some times you just dont want the giant HMM kits, but rather something around the size of a HG gundam
I've never been interested in any of the mecha girl kits, but I need one if these!
With 3D printing the possibilities for customization are truly endless.
i was on the line about this and im sold now. and hey are really reasonable and i can branch out with the other line to add on.. im stoked, thank y for the vids!
This has gives me the feeling. The feeling to buy this and never ever let it go.
Can't wait to have my own house or apartment because I'll be able to get these and not be judged by everyone oh yess
I've been waiting for this!
I would like to see 30 minute brothers. Build your own anime protagonist
With that you can also make 30 minute harems by combining the two.
Great review! I’m hoping this ‘design your own custom mecha waifu’ concept is going to catch on and become popular.
Bandai is actually just following in Kotobukiya's footsteps in this regard, since the latter already had the Frame Arms Girls and the Megami Device lines which also feature fully customizable girls. What Bandai is bringing into the table is their tech and affordability, since the aforementioned kit lines tend to be pricey.
Finally!!! I love these!!
I just given Rishetta and the stealth armor set for Christmas, I'm not browsing for another sister and add-on parts. I love this line.
Broo, that jumpscare sure got me.
One of the big problems I've noticed with these is the variation in skin tone. That means that you get a lot less customization then you'd think since you'll probably want to color match the face, body, and thigh parts. It might help once more are released in the line, but otherwise you're largely stuck with the parts designed to go with a particular base kit. It's something 30MM didn't really have to worry about, but is going to really hem you in here.
The tight linkage in color matching and other elements also means that the optional armor add-on feels more like DLC where they removed part of the kit just to sell it to you as a bonus. It might be nice if you're not into it and maybe we'll see future kits where it makes sense to add those pieces on, but from what's been announced there doesn't look like you'd want to mix and match them. It also runs into the issue that due to the change in color palette, they don't fit in with the alternate body.
So this is a really cool idea, but it's already starting to show some of the key problems. The hair is really the only thing that's fully cross compatible. Right now it feels like a set kit that was split up to sell you everything separately instead of including them all in the box. A great way to bring the price down, especially if you don't care about certain elements, but not quite the kind of customization that it implies. That is, until you start mixing them with 30MM parts.
Eh, a lot of the parts that have skin are pretty much their own parts you can actually take apart and match with other colored parts too. Even the future Luluce kit, which is the dark tanned character, has the skin parts be interchangeable with everything else.
This is only really an issue for the people who are straight builders, and like you said they're very likely to release color variations of certain option parts and armors in the future (Rishetta's default hairstyle for instance already has a planned black color variant releasing later), and there's likely to be more color variants for stuff like the peg rings and armor sets (maybe we can see a blue Speed Armor later).
Finally, these color "problems" are non-issues for modelers who paint, since they can take any part of any color they want and repaint them in whatever color they wish. Also, some people might like mixing any matching different colors, as you can see in this video where the yellow Speed Armor is installed on the blue body.
BANDAI APPROVED *_B O O B A_* ADAPTER
This the first time I've seen a kit that instantly gave me an idea.
ahhhh the tons of things you can customize ... I want a deathscythe girl!!!!!!
The 30 Minute Sisters are also designed by Shimada "Humida" Fumikane, the leage designer-engineer for Frame Arms Girl Gourai and the Busou Shinki Arnval MK1, and it shows in the customary shoulder/elbow/wrist engineering and the Machineca-esque joint layout, although Bandai crossbred in their own FiguRise style jointing. Very much a huge improvement over the yahoos from the gunpla/figurise teams who botched the Fumino gunpla kits, and a cut over Sarah and Nami.
The mid-torso joints are inferior to the rugged and POM-enhanced ab and hip joints used in the Frame Arms Girls and the Megami device, but the reduced cost versus Frame Arms Girls and Megami Device is a huge consideration. Also note that Bandai is using their traditional gunpla-sized neck balljoint and these weird nonstandard 2mm wrist pegs (Koto uses 3mm for all Frame Arms Girls and a narrow 1mm for Megami Device).
The Chitoceriums are ALSO using the same Machineca engineering as the Alphamax Dark Advent and the Koto Megami Device, only with some customizations based on Masaki Apsy's genius.
Me after seeing the Option Body Parts:
Something’s rising and it aint the re-rising gundam
Now I could kitbash it into Samus aran
my GF has a few characters shes drawn before, and this line would be PERFECT for replicating them model style. i cant wait to pick one up soon, and i might get one for myself.
Aaaaa that’s beautiful! Ima try to get Rishe !
We need more of these!!!!!
This will be the "doll" my children would grow up with.
Just a little bit of warning, I don't know if Bandai fixed it yet but when it first released in Japan it has a very very tight neck and knee joint, so tight that it breaks. So if the issue actually haven't fixed yet, just be careful and plan ahead when building the kit.
You can use a toothpick's tip of dish soap to loosen small ball joints up.
I am very happy. Thank you. Each of them is $30.00. This is what I NEED. I was looking for an inexpensive model for my drawing. Frame Arms Girl, Busou Shinki is expensive. It is impossible for me to imagine mecha girls with the correct perspective that makes it feel real with the lighting and shading. I hope they have motorcycle armor soon. Their $100 Gundam girl ones were terrible. The hands I had to force in and kept falling apart. I have to Krazy Glue them. It gives me goosebumps and will purchase one every one. Thank you so much for posting. This is what I need.
Man I can't wait to get mine...in 5 years when HLJ FINALLY FILLS MY PREORDER!
The kits are gorgeous
Also take a lot of care with the neck joints. Get rough with it, it breaks.
Yeah, I've seen that problem with that along with the ankle joints on the Japanese side of Twitter. Because of that it made me hold off on them until they solve it like with a revision or a joint set.
I think it’s because the tight joints. If that’s the case then sanding the joints a _liiiiittle_ bit might help
BEAUTIFUL ❤️
does this mean the 30 MS girls are gigantic/mecha-sized, or are the EXA-mechs actually human-sized?
Are you actually asking or being sarcastic?
It's more akin to Kotobukiya's Frame Arms Girls/Megami Device series; they are compatible, but not necessarily in scale.
well 30MM are 1/144 scale so.... yeah mecha sized girls. pog
They're two different continuity afaik
@@theobserver8881 not really sarcastic, but not entirely serious either XD
I swear 30 mm tech is probably going to make building hg even more easy and fun in the near future. Can we appreciate the section splitting tech that they made for these kits? I really love that idea amd concept.
Spotted prior in the LBX kits, but sure, it's nice to have.
Oh my I need a lot of these
Never seen those before!! geat video!
Looks like fun. I'm gonna try it out.
Now I know what I am gonna play the Centurions theme to when building.
I'll have to procure these when I get my modelling station back online.
I knew the moment it goes silent when mentioning Fumina, there’s gonna be a jumpscare.
Man The Jump-scare scared me!
You know... I didn't really had a interest in 30m... but NOW I DO!
Rishetta and Tiasha was one of my first builds in the 30 Minutes Sisters line.
Finally Bandai learn a thing or two about "usability", the possibilities to remodelling these figures are HUGE. Comparing to kitbashing and mod the bashed kit, we can use the part right out of the box. Well done Bandai. Can't wait for these kits arrive at my country.
I really want to get into model kits and this looks like such a great gateway with the simple builds and modular platform! I’d love to see the usable hands for the girls expand so we don’t have to use mecha hands for certain accessories.
My ideal model would be something with big bulky robot fists, large turbines on the back and lower legs that either end as pointed tips or open vents/jets or big bulky robot legs. I’d love more parts in white and brighter blues to be released too!
me: okay okay interesting
also me: shut up and take my money
These are so highly anticipated that within 30 days they sold out for the rest of the year. They are sold out across the planet.
I preordered these and man. my internet browsing history is much more easier to explain to my wife.
As weird as it might sound, i hope we get helmet options as well someday, i really want to make a custom Fairy Leviathan from the megaman zero games with these!
good ideia
I like the 30mm models that look like metal gears more thank you very much
Now I wait for my pre-order
Never seen this before today and now its like....I think i need all of this...its like anime, Gundam, Centurions and a bucket of awesome had a baby.
I've been following this line since back in February I think, I just so happened to google Mecha Musume the day or so it was announced. I had a feeling they were going to be great due to the immense amount of customization options and I'm glad that seems to be the case. What I didn't know was the knee adapters for the 30MM legs, that means making something like a Infinite Stratos like character so much easier.
Taking the Eva "plug" suit to a whole new level 17:16
also began 30 minutes series because of your video
Alright. Time to wait for this to go in stores
I’m really excited for some of the customizing that can be don’t with these.
I wonder if they'll be more variants, I like the one in this review but I'd probably have to custom paint it to resemble a tan gyaru ( a weakness of mine) . This looks like fun thanks for putting this on my radar.
There’s is
It looks so fun
I've seen alot of people complain about this kit mostly cause of the joints as they easily brakes off but I'ma need to get one even if it's easy to brake
Honestly im just happy to see that they are in scale with other lines. I was worried that they were gonna be tiny little things.
OMG they made it!
Wow Awesome 😎👍💖
