I need to do this tag đ I havenât filmed much thanks to feeling overwhelmed with reviews.
I loved my gallbladder surgery! I know that seems weird but my procedure was planned about a month in advance and I had an âattackâ the morning of, so I was READY! Iâve had other procedures, so I also knew what to expect. And then when I went in for the follow up, the doctor described the dimensions of the stones they removed which was weirdly cathartic: this was a _real_ thing.
Cece! I'm so glad your first surgery went well and you are feeling well.
I'm a fan of the "if it fits, it sits" way of putting things on shelves. That's what mine are like, plus random stacks around the house.
Thanks so much for adding your voice to this tag.
iâm so glad the surgery went okay and i hope you continue to recover! i related to a lot of this tag, and it was really nice to hear you talk about your experiences and letting pressure off yourself!
Great tag and update!
I was just watching people doing book tags when I stumbled upon your video. I wanted to thank you for sharing about your experience with your gallbladder. Iâve had bad nausea since I was 18 and Iâve had no clue what is causing it. I currently canât eat solid food because itâs so bad. Iâm going to ask my doctor about my gallbladder and see if itâs been checked before. It gives me hope to hear that youâve had such bad nausea but that you now have it more under control after your surgery â€ïžâ€ïž
I also had to have my gall bladder removed. It was the most painful experience of my life. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Hope you start feeling much better soon!
I also had to get my gallbladder out on a fairly emergency basis. When they took it out it was horribly scarred and about to rupture. That was 5 years ago and, while I still can't eat spicy food and I can't eat too many fatty foods or else I have a severe case of ineedabathroomnowitis, I also don't have the side pains, the nausea first thing in the morning, or the severe body aches.
I enjoyed listening to the book tag.
I'm sorry that you had to go into emergency surgery, bc that's always scary, but I'm glad that you're able to feel better now. đ Hope your recovery continues to go well.
(I also have a history of basically feeling sick to my stomach for seemingly no reason for years, but after I got my diabetes diagnosis & had to adjust my life for that, I no longer feel stomach sick as much so I can kinda relate to that.)
Oh the videogame Stardew Valley does the same thing for me that Portia does for you. It's such a good one for when my anxiety is high. I definitely recommend if you haven't tried it already.
Ugh, my son has been going through GI issues and they don't know what to tell us other than maybe it's his gallbladder even though all the tests are normal. So yeah, the anxiety has been through the roof. Hoping your recovery goes well!
I am so glad that you are able to get surgery to help you. I LOVE your art! Especially the Pumpkin Patch.
I am not sure if you want suggestions but I have been reading graphic novels as a good way to enjoy books but not have to focus on a a lot of words. Low, Low Woods is my favourite horror graphic novel I enjoyed this year. It can be heavy at times because Carmen Maria Machado is discussing sexual assualt but she purposefully illustrates the trauma and effects and never depicts any of the occurrences. And it follows two best friends who are both lesbians and I loved that their friendship so much.
I am going to do this tag â€
