How do l start? I’m sixty, l pray the Rosary and other devotions, go to Mass 4-5 x a week, but how do I go deeper. I sat silently at adoration for an hour yesterday based on something you said in the first episode. I want to love God more.

I feel shame and fear to invite Jesus into my soul to meditate because I am filthy as a rag and why should I be so arrogant and disrespectful to offer my unclean self.

The only thing we can give to God is our misery, that’s what He wants from us. It is a temptation of the enemy who wants you to stay focussed on your sin and unworthiness rather than focussed on the cross and the mercy of God. Give to God your brokenness, your misery, your sin. Let Jesus save you.
