    The part where he said there were two ways to get to Accra -- one is by a bridge built not too long ago by the government. 0'20-0'30
    This means Nkrumah didn't delay and was in a hurry to develop Africa. In doing so, he wasn't selective. #NkrumahNeverDies

      @@broaikings9527 ,I didn't go to school,but I can understand my own English, did you ask yourself if I was talking in relation to the year 1958 or any other years when such vehicles were still working and 'such journeys' happened? I also indicated 'not that old' so you probably need to go and learn about communication skills, to understand signs like 'stop
      men at work' , 'turn left men at work' .

    powerful for me as an African American that he says of the slave castle" it was in places like this where OUR FOREFATHERS were taken away and made slaves.." in 1958 the wise learned amongst our brethren in the Motherland knew that we are ONE PEOPLE separated by oceans but not by blood. Many continental brothers and sisters shuld see this and I know I was amazed at the differences from the Accra I visited in this century from this 1958 movie!

    I was born in the very early 1950’s it was Gold Coast and it became Ghana after the Independent. It was great, there was love. Things started going down the hill after the independent.

      That's what happens when u put things in the hands of a black man.. South Africa is a perfect example..I guess Nkrumah was wrong when he said a black man is capable of managing his own affairs..

      The black man is capable of managing everything!
      The black man just needs to learn to minimise greed, learn unity, and know their priorities. Until then, our youth will continue to risk their lives passing through the sea. Some Decades back , Ghana used to be clean, peaceful and corruption was little even amongst the policemen.
      The change starts with us.

      @@effyafia7981 learn paa...and how long do u need to do that..1000 years?..b4 the Arab states discovered oil..their country was like most of villages in Ghana..now with only oil that God blessed them with see how they have transformed their situation..only about 1% of their lands were arable..now with the oil they have invested and transformed their soil to produce in abundance..we sit here with all our fertile lands and can even ensure a simple food security..my dear..the truth hurts..but just have to accept it..we can't manage anything..and it's cuz of our greed and selfishness..
