Aba mli
Omg, I miss those days, things were so pure and genuine, bring back my happy days
Ikr 😅
Life was so simple and not complicated like today
Yeahhh
OMG! The respect, trust and the love between family members were deep. Let's go back for our family values.
Respect and family values are still intact in the people that lives in the villages and small towns
A whole vlog from 1958?! Amazing !
Yes
The part where he said there were two ways to get to Accra -- one is by a bridge built not too long ago by the government. 0'20-0'30
This means Nkrumah didn't delay and was in a hurry to develop Africa. In doing so, he wasn't selective. #NkrumahNeverDies
I tell you
That man was visionary
@@adrianaabaidoo3659 Dat man wouldve stagnated our progress if he wasnt overthrown. He wasnt even himself

Thank you for bringing back memories. This is the unspoilt Accra I grew up in during the 60s. Clean and nature all round. Tsutsu blemaaaoooo.

If wishes were horses
😂😂

😅😅😅😅
😅😅😅😅
The good old days, when there was nothing like the nuclear family only. There was so much love, selflessness, care, and much more than what we see nowadays.

Thanks
Wednesday 27th September, 2023. The date I watched this masterpiece ❤
History
Gone are the good old days when Ghanaians lived a simple but good life. How many fishermen can take their guests to the beer bar these days?
Thank you so much for bringing our history back to life. Greetings from the U.S.A.
Thanks for watching
Its nice to see some historic stuff about Ghana
Not that old, 37 years 😅,but proud to have experienced such journeys, we used the horning of such vehicles to prepare, nostalgic 😊.
where did u go to school BROS LOL ;CORRECTION 65 YEARS AGO AND NOT 37
@@broaikings9527 ,I didn't go to school, but I can understand my own English, did you ask yourself if I was talking in relation to the year 1958 or any other years when such vehicles were still working and 'such journeys' happened? I also indicated 'not that old' so you probably need to go and learn about communication skills, to understand signs like 'stop
men at work' , 'turn left men at work' .
If you are ready you can come back.
Yes, you are right
powerful for me as an African American that he says of the slave castle" it was in places like this where OUR FOREFATHERS were taken away and made slaves.." in 1958 the wise learned amongst our brethren in the Motherland knew that we are ONE PEOPLE separated by oceans but not by blood. Many continental brothers and sisters shuld see this and I know I was amazed at the differences from the Accra I visited in this century from this 1958 movie!
Oh wow. You visited Accra in the 1958 and where you now ?
@@chorkoryouthtv No, he/she never said they visited Accra in 1958! Read the posting carefully
I was born in the very early 1950’s it was Gold Coast and it became Ghana after the Independent. It was great, there was love. Things started going down the hill after the independent.
That's what happens when u put things in the hands of a black man.. South Africa is a perfect example..I guess Nkrumah was wrong when he said a black man is capable of managing his own affairs..
@@kojopipim84Apparently, that's the sad reality. The black man simply can't manage anything. Sad indeed.
The black man is capable of managing everything!
The black man just needs to learn to minimise greed, learn unity, and know their priorities. Until then, our youth will continue to risk their lives passing through the sea. Some Decades back , Ghana used to be clean, peaceful and corruption was little even amongst the policemen.
The change starts with us.
@@effyafia7981 learn paa...and how long do u need to do that..1000 years?..b4 the Arab states discovered oil..their country was like most of villages in Ghana..now with only oil that God blessed them with see how they have transformed their situation..only about 1% of their lands were arable..now with the oil they have invested and transformed their soil to produce in abundance..we sit here with all our fertile lands and can even ensure a simple food security..my dear..the truth hurts..but just have to accept it..we can't manage anything..and it's cuz of our greed and selfishness..
@@kojopipim84let’s be positive guys. We can! Was Barack Obama not the president of America? Isn’t he black ? We can do it ooo , hmm! We just need to learn and make up our mind to change our situation.
Boneshaker trotro. Good old days.
