I was expecting to see a really restored boat, but in fact it was just a tiny floating house. Well, it's even cosy... But the sight of the gutted captain's cabin brought tears to my eyes.

I have shortlisted my one of three. berthon yacht brokerage have a 2008 for sale hardy 50 which for its price gives most a run for its money given its a CAT A ocean and a 3 cabin version with a pair of 800 MAN engines

It is a shame that it can sail but she has been respectively restored I have seen many old buses restored to a living vehicle if I had the money I would do just that

It would of made a good high latitudes yacht IF IT HAD MOTORS. As a liveaboard, there's quite a few shortcomings.

With the engine(s) removed, that boat would be unstable. Tons of ballast would be needed to compensate. It's nothing more than an unrestored old boat that still floats.
