  • Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Juicepresso.
    LINK TO Juicepresso: amzn.to/2td0YMo
It’s a masticating juicer or cold press juicer so it works by slowly juicing fruits and vegetables.
Most masticating juicers run at a speed of about 80 RPM’s. The Juicepresso is the slowest on the market at 40 rpms. This slow speed prevents oxidation and separation of the juice and you can store the juice for 3 days without it breaking down.
The Juicepresso weights 15.4 pounds and is 17 inches tall. It’s slim, sleek and looks great on your countertop. It is compact so you can leave it on the counter for daily juicing. Assembly is simple. Make sure the rubber pad is pushed in against this line. Attach Drum to the main body. The squeezing screw sits right in the middle. This is really 3 parts in one - the screw, mesh screen and rotating brush. So there are less parts to clean and assemble. Turn the hopper to line up with the close dot to lock. The juicer comes with two pitchers - one to collect the juice and one to collect the pulp. This is the pusher and the included cleaning brush. The parts are bpa free.
Since masticating juicers are great for leafy greens, I’ll juice spinach as well as hard vegetables like carrots and crunchy apples. The feed tube is small so you will have to spend more time on prepping produce into smaller pieces.
If some fruits or veggies remain at the top of the screw, press the reverse button for a few seconds and then go back to regular juicing. You can hear the juicer and it is quiet compared to other juicers.
We’ll start with apples cut into small wedges. Take the stem and seeds out before juicing apples. Don’t put too much into the juicer. It needs time to process the produce thoroughly. You can see the pulp is dry which means the juicer did a good job of getting the maximum amount of juice from the apples.
Next we’ll juice spinach. When processing greens, make sure to follow with juicy fruits or vegetables. I’ll use some cucumbers and carrots. The pulp can be used in soups, meatballs and meatloaf mix. It’ll add moistness to anything you make. The juice tastes light because of the cucumber. The “green” taste is reduced due to the addition of carrots and cucumbers.
Cleaning up takes just a few minutes. Turn off and unplug the machine. Twist the hopper and align open dot with open sign and remove. This can be rinsed out easily. Take the rubber pads out and rinse out the screw. Use the cleaning brush to clean the mesh. Remove any pulp in the chute with the handle of the cleaning brush. This is the only part that can be a little tricky to clean because of this crevice. I find that my kitchen spray hose works well on this part.
Overall, the juicepresso did a good job of extracting juice from the spinach, carrots and apples. I like the overall design of the juicer. It has a small footprint and is quiet which is great for my sensitive ears.
I hope you found this review useful. Please subscribe and thanks for watching!

I have the same juicer and I managed to squeeze out 20% more yield by hand, through a nutmilk bag. I was really surprised at how wet the pulp was, even with the bottom tab completely jammed in.

"the pulp is dry...use it to add moisture..." Not that dry, then, is it?

2:30 No way! Is it normal? Juice is coming out from pulp outlet! Are you sure that the silicon plug was correctly fitted and the juicer isn't defective?

I had the Coway Juicepresso CJP-01 and it used to happen only when the silicon plug was not correctly fitted or after i accidentally damaged it.

I've lost one of the little removable rubber pads from inside the screw. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?
