Concerning, Spirea japonica video. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us here. Question: I've got a few cuttings of this shrub from my local public garden. It _has_ grown roots, just sitting in water that I freshen every 2nd day or so. However, when I placed the best rooted branch into soil, all the leaves fell off. What should I do? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Hugs from Atlantic Canada.🤗🍁

I liked Craftsman boxes when I was young. I’ve learned a ton since then. I don’t dislike Craftsman boxes, but I’ve studied these out and say what you want, I would take a Harbor Freight box over a craftsman any day. The first thing I noticed was the HF box drawers have hemmed edges on the top of the sides of drawers. In other words they are rolled over. Craftsman are not. Even my Mac box drawers are not hemmed. I also have the 5 drawer HF tool cart. Our shop foreman was going to have me cut a purchase order for about a dozen Matco tool carts. They are over $1000 apiece. I asked him if he’d ever been to Harbor freight and looked at their tool carts he says no. So I pulled it up online and he said, I’ll check it out. He came back with a 2 or 3 in the back of the company pick up truck. Technicians liked them, they held up, so they picked more of them up. They use them to keep their computers in and special tools. Icon tool boxes are In a league all their own. I’d put them up against any truck box any day of the week. You could buy 2 HF Icon setups for the price of a Snap-On. Just my 2¢ worth.

I mentioned in the video at some point that HF is the only place you can really go to look at and touch tool boxes these days besides big blue and big orange. The quality is similar to my 80's box. While I'm not a huge fan of HF, I admit that the new 7-drawer tool cart has caught my eye along with the 54-inch rolling tool cabinet. Alas, one thing at a time.

Fastest way to dump a toolbox on its side is put 4 casters on it. Use extreme caution pushing that cart on wide side you can dump it in a heartbeat ask me how I know and picking up hundreds of sockets was not fun.

This is why I cringed when you slid the wheel frames into the center of the box. They needed to be pulled out to the front and back to give as wide of base as possible. I did that with a giant storage cabinet I have. It's 3' + wide, 2.5' + deep and 6'6" tall and solid like a vault. Had a frame welded up so the wheels were directly under each outside corner of the box. Increased the base by 6" in size, but stability went from 100% to 1000%. With all my hardware and supplies, it must weigh 3,000 pounds, though.

I upgraded my Craftsman rolling cart by adding a 1/2" thick 3" wide pine board across each end, perpendicular to those "L" braces, forming a full frame for the bottom, and attaching the casters with machine screws, lock washers, and nuts through the steel and the wood instead of the sheet metal screws. The flexing of the bottom frame is totally gone, and those bolts won't work loose over time like sheet metal screws will do.

The metal is much thicker and the paint job is way better.

Measuring by eye depends upon the value of the project. It invariably leads to more scrap and replacement efforts. Do the best you need to then take a break and review the job.

HF boxes and tool carts are far superior to the new Sears boxes. I’ve owned both truck boxes & HF. Icon boxes are as good as Snap-On all day long. Go look at them then decide.
