- Guitar Max's Harley Benton signature guitar! Who's it for? What's special about it? What's the stupidest thing anyone has said about it? For these answers and more, check out this second half of the interview!
I''m also happy for Max, he's a chad with great vibe and I just watched on IG that harley benton is releasing a second batch of his signature soon, completely well deserved.
100% agreement with what you just said. And I'm happy to hear that Harley Benton is coming out with another batch of those guitars soon! Now if I can just convince my wife that I need one more guitar... Actually, though, she too thinks that Max is pretty great, so maybe it won't take as much convincing as I think.
I just bought one, can't wait. I am in Canada
The point to having a signature guitar is to make it to the signature artist's specifications not the end consumer's. If you do not like the specs that Max chose then don't buy it. Sitting here picking apart his axe saying "well if it had this and that, and you got rid of this and this, then I'd buy it" simply put, means this is not the guitar for you.
I think it is a fantastically put together instrument. It has been equipped with well thought out accessories that make it a workhorse instead of a show piece and to top it off, it comes at a price that is not so astronomical that it is beyond most hobbyist's reach. I will say this, nothing I buy stays in its OEM form for very long. I always add certain things that are signature to how I achieve my tone, but I would not insult the person responsible for that model instrument by suggesting hey if you put this and that on that thing and changed the color to this for "ME" and sold it to me for the same price I would buy it. I am a nobody artist and for that reason I do not have a signature anything beyond what goes on the back of my paycheck; therefore I buy something that appeals to me and customize it to my likings.
Max, your signature model Fusion, is a great value and a well thought out design, it has all the things a gigging musician needs and none of the price inflating fluff that they do not. I hope to get one at some point and please do not be offended but I will make modifications to it but not in a distasteful way, as I think it is a beautiful instrument (love that deep emerald green!).
Congrats 🎸
Thanks for this interview! What a great looking guitar! Hope Harley Benton makes more!
Man, me too! 🤘
We must gather a political movement with so much influence and momentum so that Max and Harley Benton will finally get this guitar in red, blue and purple.
Yes, our very own political movement!
Love it!
I have this guitar and can say it's everything one would need in a professional grade instrument. I would absolutely buy another one if they offered red or purple...hint, hint...:)
Good to hear! So far I haven't heard anyone say anything other than positive about it.
Nice guitar for sure
Maybe in the future purchase 🤘
For sure! Thanks for commenting!
I just ordered mine and can't wait to get it . Worth the 4 week wait
Right on! Shred like the wind! 🤘
I'm I Canada trying to get one of these, it was sold out last I checked. Love all the specs on it, especially the reverse headstock lol.
That's two of us, friend (including the sold-out-when-I-tried-to-buy-it part)! 🤘
Definitely gonna sell some more of them guitars. If your a Floyd player, I don't think there's a better deal around? They could charge 5-6 hundo for them with some different paint and finish options. The specs are all there, now get Harley Benton to expand the finishes to include some more traditional colors and tone down the shiny gloss on them. I don't believe it would effect sales at all if they offered a premium model for a little extra.
That's an awesome value for a guitar in that price range, however I won't be buying one for two reasons. First, I don't like reverse head stocks. Second, I don't like the color green, I'm into red. It would sell better if it was available in more colors with a regular facing head stock. All in all, it's still an unbelievable great guitar. Which makes it a hard pass for me and a great many others, but its still a pass.
Hi Max mine is on his way now from Germany. ❤🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Max will be happy to hear that! 🤘
@@MetalProfessor65 o sorry young man I was not aware that you were leading the interview I'm sorry. Liked both sessions. ☺👍👍
@@harrievogels6400 My granddaughter will be flabbergasted that someone called me "young man"! You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. 😃🤟
I'm 69 years old next month so I think you are younger. 😅😅😅
The Floyd Rose 1000 comes stock on $1000 Charvels. It's pretty good.
Right on! I've got a Floyd 1000SE (which is *not* a Floyd Rose "Special") on both my Jackson and LTD. Works great!
It does not have a kill switch!
True. I didn't ask Max about that IIRC, but I expect to kill switch would have increased the cost of the guitar, which Max wanted to avoid.
